Dr Doug is hands down, THE best ER doc at Intermountain. I always breathe a sigh of relief when we see him there. He is kind, compassionate and a gifted practitioner. I have the utmost trust in and respect for him.

I visited Dr Smith over a month ago. I was dealing with some hypertension, and needed to track my blood pressure for a couple weeks to see if medication was needed. I tried messaging him via the patient portal, which did not work. I called and left a message for his MA, and the phone call was never returned. I ended up writing down my blood pressure results and drove to his office to hand it to a staff member. She promised to get it into his hands that day, and I never heard from anyone. I ended up having to look for a new healthcare provider because it was something that needed to be addressed. I’m incredibly disappointed because he came highly recommended by my OBGYN’s nurse. Sadly, I will not be returning to see Dr Smith.

Dr. Smith is a very competent, caring, and thorough physician. He has great bedside manner and he takes the time to discuss any needs, questions, or concerns of the patient. He is someone you can trust your health with.

I highly recommend Dr. Smith to anyone looking for a doctor who is very knowledgeable but also has an extremely kind bed side manner. He has always taken the time to make sure that I fully understand any medical concerns or questions I have brought to him. He makes sure to be fully present during any office visit and never makes you feel like just another patient he has to see. I have appreciated how he has used his wide medical expertise and common sense to help treat me and my loved ones.

Dr. Smith was a great help. He listened to me explain my health issues and was able to put me at peace and was able to pin point the issues and help resolve it. Thank you Dr. Smith

I have four daughters and have seen a number of doctors over the years. When it comes to your children, you want to trust and know that they are getting the best possible care when it comes to their healthcare. There is no one I trust more than Dr. Doug! I have known Dr. Smith for many years and I know him to be not just an outstanding doctor but also a great person with a great deal of integrity. He always takes the time to listen to our concerns and explain things to us in a way that is informative and comforting. I’ve always known that Dr. smith will go the extra mile when it comes to my children’s health. I never feel dismissed or that my concerns aren’t valid. He is extremely knowledgeable and has always shown genuine concern for our children’s well being. Thank you Dr. Doug!

If you are the Douglas Smith I saw in an Instacare you are the best. You gave me a medication that has made my life better. I can't thank you enough. I wish I had aPCP just like you. Stick to your philosophy. I agree with you 100%!!
