Love the staff. Dr Johnson is very honest and forthright.highly recommended this office. Been going there for about 15 years.

Very professional and caring.

Outstanding in all aspects: Explanation of my eyes overall condition in terms that I could understand and what we both thought would be beneficial to ME. No "pushy" sales to get glasses due to minor change in vision or eye surgery not required at this time. Would required to friends.

Recommended by my Laser specialist, Dr. Johnson was very pleasant although it was difficult to understand what he said due to the mask which muddles his words. He was patient in testing the problem I explained I was having. I know he wrote changes in my vision prescription but I don't know how my vision has changed (although I can tell it has) or if it presents a problem. The desk attendant was quite helpful and the exam room technician/assistant was brief, to the point, not unpleasant and not talkative. I was asked to bring my current glasses but I don't recall anyone looking at them. I should have taken my previous script and asked for a comparison.

Dr Johnson is very knowledgeable. Also very thorough.

I had a great yearly eye exam as I always had since I’ve seen Dr. Johnson. He is very nice, very caring and a great eye doctor. He will answer any questions I have and explain things so well. I feel very confident seeing this doctor .

Dr. Johnson explains everything as he examines and takes time to answer questions. He is thorough, professional, and has a great, sly sense of humor. Always a treat to visit with him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for over 20 years. He is unfailingly thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. He is current on the latest information in his field. If a referral is required, he has the backup of the other physicians at the Eye Institute. I would highly recommend him as an eyecare provider.

Highly recommend the office and Dr Johnson. I have been a nurse for almost 50 years and currently care for my 90 year old mom and in laws. My mom is wheelchair bound and the staff was so accommodating. Dr Johnson was thorough, kind, and respectful to my mom and I. Wonderful experience!

Dr. Johnson is very professional . He explained in detail every aspect of examination. Clearly indicating the results and comparison to last years exam. He discussed thoroughly glaucoma and cataracts and the aging process. Again he is a consummate professional . Already booked next years exam.

Been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for something like 15-years now. He is professional, expedient, and thorough. His consistency of care is what I like most about him! I'm not a complex vision case, and I always know what to expect. If you are unable to see Dr. Johnson, at the Eye Institute, I was also a patient of Dr. Jeffrey LaPlume for a few years when he was at another practice - and he is outstanding as well. Glad they are both part of the Eye Institute of West Florida in their Largo office.

Always a positive experience with Dr Johnson

I have been going to Dr. Johnson for about 6yrs. He is by far the best OD I have ever been to. He is very patient, kind and does a thorough job with eye exams explaining each step. He listens and answers all questions asked. I highly recommend him.

Always a pleasure to visit Dr. Johnson's office. Staff are friendly and helpful and he is professional and kind, whether it's a routine exam or a sudden concern that rushes me to his office.

Dr. Johnson is a great eye doctor, especially for contact lens wearers. He is thorough, professional, caring and very laid back. Never seems like he is in a rush and takes all the time you need to answer your questions and address your concerns. He explains exactly what he is doing and why during your whole visit. I have been going to him for a long time, guessing 10 plus years and he has never waivered from the description of him I indicated above.
