Dr H is quite extraordinary, I'm very grateful for his research and expertise. He spent over an hour with us going over our kids health gave them a thorough examination. Never has a Dr given such care or acknowledged the potential harm of certain vacs...Hes a rare Dr and quite awesome. Due to "office policy" Dr. Hulstedt does not provide superbills. So you (or your insurance) do not know what you're paying for. That seems like fraud.

This doctor office does not do vaccines anymore. When I called and made my appointment a few months ago they said they did. When I got to the appointment I was told they do not do vaccinations. I should have walked out then. The girl who helped me, Erica, was semi-patient with my todddler and I but when it came to the billing process I asked questions at the office but was still unclear so I called back later. Erica immediately got defensive and said she was very clear and mentioned she had a witness, her manager. I was simply trying to understand the process and not trying to be a problem customer but this is how she made me feel. When we hung up, I thanked her for her help and she proceeded to say to me, “I hope things get better for you.” I felt judged for being a single mother. There are no toys to keep your toddler busy while you fill out paperwork, this office is shared with a chiropractic practice. Horrible environment. I felt like I paid $208 for a lecture on vaccines and that my child beat all the odds by still being normal for being vaccinated up to this point. I won’t be going back. I'd give NO stars if I could. Two Doctors recommended it take my daughter, who was 7 years old at the time, and has a condition very similar to Autism, to Dr. Hulstedt. However, whoever answers his telephone wasn't even professional enough to call me back after she said she would check to see "what he wanted to do with this one." She did say how lucky my daughter must be to have me to want to get her this kind of care, but she didn't bother to follow up? Even when I called back after a couple of weeks, and left another message to see what was going on, I got no response. Ended up going all the way to Santa Cruz for the same type of care, but it's a shame that I couldn't get the help my daughter deserved locally. I'd give NO stars if I could. If you are looking for a family practioner or pediatrician that practices traditional medicine then Dr H is probably not for you. If you are looking for a practioner that is open to alternative medicine or if you want to get down to the root of an illness rather than suppressing it---this is the guy for you. He is well researched and knowledgeable. My kids adore his sense of humor and easy going bedside manner. Highly recommend! Such a pleasant experience. Brought my son to see him today and he spent an hour with us addressing all of my concerns and was very thorough. He also gave us recommendations for natural alternatives for his cold symptoms. Highly recommend!

Im so happy i found Dr. Hulstedt for my children, hes a great Dr. Very knowledgable about the immune system and how to prevent disease. He will sit and take his time with you and talk to you and answer all of your questions. Hes the best Dr. Ive ever had the opportunity to meet with. I recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Dr. Hulstedt is caring, professional and well-researched. I feel at ease whenever I take my son for an appointment. He is a huge advocate for breastfeeding, so he was able to provide lots of support and encouragement during the first few months after my son was born. I recommend him for anyone who wants to go a more natural route and not rely on overmedicating as is typically done in conventional medicine. Dr. Hulstedt is caring, professional and well-researched. Dr. Hulstedt is the best. I have been to most Doctors in the area and it's very lucky that we found him. He's natural and a genius when it comes to children and alternative medecine. We need more pediatricians like him.

We LOVE Dr. Hulstedt! Gives healthy options and genuinely cares. Been seeing him for my son for 14 years, he was there at his birth. Highly recommend!

Dr. H is one of the most knowledgeable and respectable pediatricians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and taking my children to. He is always there when you need him and truly cares about his patients.

We Love Dr. Hulstedt and his entire staff. His knowledge is invaluable to us and he is a treasure! he helped my child when no other doctor would listen to us. He does not have a huge staff because he does not overbook patients like so many other pediatricians. He actually will listen to parents and not automatically whip out his RX pad before you can even speak. I will gladly take a slower office staff with an excellent doctor over a quick office staff and an "ok" doctor. I completely trust Dr. Hulstedt and highly recommend him if you are ready to really help your child heal, and not just cover up their symptoms with pharmaceuticals. Dr Hulstedt is a quack! He lied to our faces when we brought our child in. Also, he got our child sick because he allows unvaccinated kids to sit in his waiting room and one of them gave my kid pertussis! All parents who vaccinate need to leave his clinic because they dont have separate waiting rooms or exam rooms for kids who dont vaccinate and they will get your child sick! I am filing a complaint with the state medical board of California and we will be filing a medical malpractice suit against this idiot too! Dr Hulstedt is a quack! We loved the doctor himself, but the office staff is making it so hard to get my childs vaccination records. We are now behind in his shots since he moved and they are refusing to respond to myself or our new physicians office. Incredibly frustrating this office is run in such a unorganized and unprofessional manner.

Dr. Hulstedt is by far our favorite pediatrician. He is well researched and very informed. We have moved a lot from Monterey, to southern Cali, to the Midwest and he is the best we ever could find. He taught us about homeopathic medicine to give us a broad spectrum of choices for us to review and decide what to go with. He allowed us to choose the vaccination schedule for our first born and educated us about the dangers of giving too many shots at once to a small, developing immune system. He is highly recommended!
