Dr Hammerstein was very thorough and knowledgeable. I liked the way he explained my diagnosis and I feel he was straightforward and talked to me on my level.

I had Dr.Hammerstrom as my secondary while my primary doctor was out on leave. He denied my multiple medication refills and it was a pain to get sorted out. I didn’t appreciate this from a doctor who knows nothing about my medical history.

Dr. Hammerstrom is trustworthy! For 15 years he cared for my entire family through routine and critical issues. Sincere and genuine, This Doctor is the real deal!

My wife and I are not used to the rude mannerisms that are displayed by Dr. Hammerstrom at all. We were both raised better than to treat people like animals, like reflected by Dr. Hammerstroms bed-side manner. He is supossed to be a Family doctor but yet he makes decisions, like adjusting medicines your on, that were prescribed by a specialist, without consulting me or the specialist. He also never listens to you while you're in the exam room with him, the laptop is more important.

If you like your doctor to be robotic and cold, this is your guy. He has one facial expression, does not smile nor pretend to care. Every time I've seen him he acts like he is in a rush to get you out of there and is just there for his paycheck. Beyond his poor demeanor he is also not very attentive to your records. as a new patient, he never asked me why I was taking the medication I was on, how it was working, or offer to refill it, I had to ask for a refill as he was rushing out the door.
