Can never say a service was perfect coz there's always improvement, however everything I've experienced was well, except the new patient process. If they recognize the era we're in now, other services were into the new patient portal account and for me it would've been 5 stars. I don't like filling out forms when you get there 45 min before your appt and you still filling the forms out just as your appt eclipses. The portal is faster, they send the forms to your email before your appt and when you fill it out the office will get all my info and insurance info as well. Making the first appt supposedly, a 5 star.

Thank you, Dr. Dodson. Not only did you do a great job with my total knee replacement, but(and here's the best part) my scar is so negligible! I have seen several other final results, and I must say, mine is the least noticable. Because of the others I had seen, and not your handiwork, I had resigned myself to an ugly but necessary battle scar. Only four months after surgery, my scar is fading away. Thanks again for your expertise.

Follow-up meeting after steroid injection is lowe back from Dr. F. Utter. No adverse side effects. Placed on waiting list for Dr. Tiffany in October for injection to nump back nerves. No further action required by Dr. Dodson.

Latest visit was very useful. Dr. Dodson had referred me to the NM Pain Center at Gerald Champion, seeing Dr. Underwood. My visit with his CNP was yesterday, and was very successful. I will be pursing the Proclaim XR CSC system they recommend. Thank you for your referral.

Very professional and respectful of his patients. Great explanation of x-rays. I knew what was happening in my joints and that made the pain less scary.

After many years of suffering, I am finally getting some relief. Dr. Dodson listens, his staff is caring and he is more up-to-date on medical procedures than anyone else I have been seen by.

I would normally rate him as a 5 star, but my last experience was not up to par. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room and then got a cursory exam, then was dismissed. I know docs are busy (my family has many docs), but I felt like I was just dismissed (maybe my age?) Dr. Dodson replaced my right knee and did a remarkable job. Perhaps it was just a bad day. . The doctors are wonderful, they are just double booked and it takes forever to get in.

Everything was good, only problem when getting approved for my MRI ,the insurance didn't have enough information, so they denied it, I did talk to a few at the Bone an Joint office, and these people not being DOCTORS, were telling what I needed to do? Not happening with women, soo, we all got everything straightened out, and hopefully they write the correct dosage on the paperwork and we can move on. Dr Dodson has always been very polite and caring.. He’s the very best..

It has been two years today since Dr Dodson worked his magic on me with the total hip replacement surgery in my left hip. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the results. I feel 20 years younger and I thank Dr Dodson for his skill, knowledge, expertise, and attention to my needs and comfort. Highly recommended for sure

Am usually VERY satisfied going here, this time there was an issue that had NOTHING to do with them, it was an insurance issue, you need pain management for your knees? THIS is the place to go! Dr Dodson has been a livessaver

For once I have no pain from what I had been living with for the last two years. What a great feeling.

First of all the staff is out of this world always happy to go to my Dr's appointment with Dodson. Dodson has done 2 surgeries on my fingers and have no complaints on him. Thanks for being a good Dr

Dr Dodson is the ultimate professional in his field he truly cares for his patients feelings and well being. I would not hesitate to tell any one needing surgery to have joint replaced to seek his services. Great physician as well as a great human being.

We don't need to travel out of state or even to Albuquerque or El Paso to find a top notch orthopedic surgeon to replace our old or non functional bones. We have one right here. I had total knee replacement surgery a little over 2 months ago at the New Mexico Bone and Joint Institute by Dr. Douglas Dodson, DO. I'm doing great now. Our family has used Dr. Dodson for decades for our kids and both my husband and me. He has always given us excellent care. Two years ago he did a total shoulder replacement on my elderly husband who now can use that shoulder with ease. Dr. Dodson's team works well with the patients to prepare us for the surgeries. There were even some weekend texts to make sure I was recovering as he hoped I would. He'll keep tabs on you in the years to come. Good luck. Dr. Dodson performed fantastic knee surgery to my left knee. I don't have pain with it now. He has also helped slow down the need for another knee surgery. Thank you so much.

Dr. Dodson is my Orthopedic Surgeon of choice. Whenever I have a bone or joint problem I trust him to help me take care of the problem. He is an excellent surgeon and I feel confident in referring my friends to him, knowing that he will give them the same fine care.

I had my first hip replacement with in May 2017, and the second hip replaced In August 2017. I am very pleased with every aspect of the care that I received. Doctor Dodson paid impeccable attention to every aspect of my operation, from the purely cosmetic, (I have extensive tattoo work on both thighs which were in the way of his incisions. He made sure that the tattoos were reassembled beautifully) to the functional aspects of the hip joints. I am no longer in constant pain, I can move again!

My wife just had her first of both hip replacements in Alamogordo NM by Dr Dobson and the wonderful staff and facility at Gerald Champion Hospital. Dr Dobson is a thorough wonderful doctor as well as a kind and gentle man.. The hospital there is the best Ive experienced highly recommended 6 stars

My acl replacement was top notch and his staff in Ruidoso is exceptional. My only complaint was he do a lot of detailed explaination after the surgery as to how it went and what to expect
