Dr. Dorcas Mouray Eaves

Had a horrible appointment today with Dr. Dorcas Eaves. Not sure if she thinks being a surgeon makes her too good to treat minor injuries (she made sure to tell me she was a surgeon who knows everything) but the way she treated me as her patient was completely unacceptable. I've never been treated this way by any healthcare professional in my life. She was rude, talked over me, criticized me to the point where I was crying. I was in pain and looking for help but felt like she invalidated all of my concerns and didn't want to hear anything I had to say. She also did not take the time to explain anything she said. When I started crying she looked at me and walked out the door. The office staff were all very nice and helpful. Management apologized and they refunded my visit. Update - reviewed the doctor’s transcription notes the next day and there were several statements on there that were totally false or fabricated. Very frustrating on top of everything else. Not sure if she thinks being a surgeon makes her too good to treat minor injuries (she made sure to tell me she was a surgeon who knows everything) but the way she treated me as her patient was completely unacceptable. Refreshing - Dr. Eaves is professional, thorough, asks questions and actually listens to the patient. I've seen her a couple of times through urgent care situations and was very satisfied with the outcome in all instances.
