Very nice. The staff and Dr. Donna Saatman were very nice and polite and helpful.

Dr saatman is outstanding, she talked me through the whole process, and let me know what was happening and the possible outcomes. I feel that she is a angel and God quided her hands. Her staff is great.

Since day one Dr Saatman and her staff have been awesome. Extremely polite, breaks everything detail down to make sure you understand what's going on.

Dr. Saatman was great. She was always attentive to my needs and listened to all my concerns. She was very patient during my appointments, and always made me feel like her top priority.

I recently came to the office for a consultation. Once I went in the back, I noticed gnats (the bigger ones) in the bathroom and exam room. During my exam, there was a gnat flying around. The Dr. literally killed the gnat with her gloves on paperwork that I brought in for her to review. She then threw the gnat away and attempted to return to my exam (which consisted of me touching her gloves) as if nothing happened. :/ I had to politely tell her I was not touching those gloves.. I think that was very disgusting and unprofessional. I will not be returning. I recently came to the office for a consultation. Purporting to be able to help my wife, Dr. Saatman instead stretchede 1 surgery into 3 surgeries , one of them having all the stitches come out, and NOT being available to respond to our calls for help until office hours. We waited from 10AM until our office appointment at 2PM. This is with my late wifes' spine exposed. The emergency room refused to do any further work or repairs to Dr. Saatmans work. In addition to this a month later the screws in a cage Saatman had constructed came loose. This required a 3rd surgery to my wife to repair her work.

Wanted to seek help from a Neurosurgeon instead of a pain management doctor. Glad I did it. Dr. Saatman is excellent!

Dr Saatman performed a microdiscectomy about a year and a half ago on my back, best decision I ever made! Back to doing all my favorite things pain free.

Fantastic experience seeing her in the Gainesville, Florida office. Easy to talk to. My wife and I trust her expertise!

What a wonderful doctor to be around and also get treatment from!

Dr. Saatman is a caring and compassionate doctor. When I needed help with my back pain she was there and answered all my questions that I had. She was very nice and treated me very well. Although I did not end up getting surgery I ended up getting injections to treat my back pain.

This doctor doesn't care about anything that the spouse has to say. her beside manner is absolutely terrible and treats you like a complete liar about all of your problems. I don't know how this woman performs surgery when she doesn't look at imaging or read reports. She needs to learn how to speak to people and not think that her skills are that to make people feel like they aren't worth it to her. My wife went to her for help and refused to speak or acknowledge that I was even in the room and when I asked if I could join the conversation she refused to continue helping my wife. I wouldn't suggest this woman to perform any surgery on even my dog with her terrible attitude.

Dr. Saatman was the one Neurosurgeon I found fit in order to do my procedure. It seemed like she really cared about not rushing into surgery. She did not seem like she wanted to go to surgery right away like another spine surgeon I saw in Gainesville. Dr. Saatman has a wonderful personality and glad I went to go see her as a second opinion!

The worst experience I've EVER had with surgery. This "Doctor" wasn't what I thought. Left me as a patient at my 8 week ck up!! Said she was returing... she should since she isn't worth the money she charged my insurance company!!!! I'd I could give her a Negative rating it would be -10!

Operated on my back for spinal stenosis. Like a miracle. No more recurrent sciatica. Tiny holes. Fast recovery.

I have been to many surgeons due to having several herniated discs over the years. Dr. Saatman was the best one I have been to. From a personality standpoint to patient care, there is like no other.

Spent almost an hour with me in explaining my medical imaging and I truly valued her time. I am in back pain and all the other conservative methods that I tried failed. Thank goodness I found Dr. Donna Saatman. She listens, she cares, and she is wonderful!

I went to three other neurosurgeons before I found Dr. Saatman. She is the reason I am walking today. She is the ONLY neurosurgeon that I trust to operate on my spine! Thank you, Dr. Saatman , for giving me my life back!

During the summer of 2018, I fell in another city and received a compression fracture of my spine, L 2. I saw a doctor in NYC, who misdiagnosed my problem, and gave a cortisone injection. Still in tremendous pain in my spine and down my left leg, I returned home and went to the ER at Brandon Hospital and was treated and diagnosed. There, the ER physician got in touch with Dr. Saatman at my request since my primary Dr was out of town on vacation. Dr. Saatman's office kindly got me in for an MRI in a timely fashion and saw me within the week even though she did not yet know me. Dr. Saatman was on time in my appointment and very efficient and straight forward with my diagnosis She gave me the choices for my treatment and allowed me to make decisions yet was honest in her assessment. I scheduled a Kyphloplasty for the following week and was immediately so happy with my decision. I have suffered no more pain since my surgery period.

Dr Saatman is absolutely the best surgeon for the spine. She did a spinal surgery in 2008 and again in 2019. I was in extreme pain she went in and cleaned up scar tissue as well as degenerative disease and put me back together & now I have little to no pain. If I ever needed surgery again I would pray that she was back doing surgery. I Praise God for the skill He gave her. Thank you Dr Saatman, I am forever grateful. Diane Patterson

Great Neurosurgeon

i would strongly recommend Dr. Saatman , I believed in here from the start had surgery in march lower back L5 S1 bone spurs and I feel 100%.

Dr. Saatman and her team revisited my previous surgery. She revised my surgery by removing an anterior loose screw and added a posterior rods and screws along with a fusion. It is 4 weeks out and I feel amazing with NO pain. The surgery sites from the front and back and the incisions look great. I very much appreciate her and her team for the help that she has given me. If you seek a professional team with compassion, I recommend her and her team.

I found the doctor standoffish and her staff very rude. After surgery, I had recurring pain after surgery. When I went back to let her know, she did not bother investigating why my pain seemed not to have gotten better. She refused to see me and I was dismissed by the staff who stated that the surgery was done without a hitch and there was nothing farther the doctor could do. I don't know why doctors get into medicine with no ounce of compassion.

After waiting 45 minutes to see Dr. Saatman my time with the doctor was brief lasting only 5 minutes. After following all of her suggestions, I was eager to see what the next step would be. She seemed aggravated with my questions. She has awful beside manner and coveys a lack of interest in your symptoms. I left the office in tears (not the first time) as I felt she had no time or concern with my symptoms and pain.

Dr. Saatman performed a micro discectomy for my herniated disc at L5 S1. She was very informative, but no nonsense. She is to the point and certainly has your best interests in mind. I did not spend a lot of time speaking with her but she was not there to be my friend, she is there to be my doctor and give advice. Her PA Michael Ferentino met with me most of the time and is very knowledgeable, and personable.

I was recommended by a family member to see Dr. Saatman for back pain after a fall at work. She took her time to explain my diagnosis and to delineate a treatment plan that would work with my schedule. There is a wait to see her however I am very pleased with the results.

Dr. Saatman was very informative and professional. She was straight forward and spent 45 mins with me on my first visit. I had a c6-7 herniated disc that didnt respond to shots or therapy. I ultimately had a Mobi C disc replacement. I had instant relief. Best choice I have ever made. The staff were awesome amd helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Saatman and m. Ferentino.

I agreed w the lack of care as to the Pt's time. My new pt apt was for 2:30. I got there at 2p & asked for the paper work. I was provided HIPPA docs & billing docs but nothing else. At 2:45 I asked if the dr was running late & was told she was 45 min behind. I sat and waited till 4:30p the staff was rude. I saw the doc for exactly 7 min. She told me she had reviewed my images/xrays & I needed surgery. how & when did she do that. I do not recommend this doc or grp find others that care.

Waited over 2 hours for less than 5 minutes with the Dr. She couldn't get out of exam room fast enough. She didn't even address what was going on. Waste of my time and money. BTW worst handshake ever.

Has no consideration for people's time. An appointment at 12:30 is probably last appointment of the day for the doctor but may get to them by 4:30.

Doctor was late arriving to the office. The office staff was very kind and professional but being told that I would wait for at least an hour before even going back for the appointment was ridiculous. I got there 30 minutes early to show courtesy for the doctor't time. I expect the same courtesy for my time.

Long wait...and in a rush, no concern of having been in the hospital a few times with chronic scoliosis. tried to push therapy for weeks. Horrible bedside manners of concern.

Awful MD. Once she is done operating and collecting her money she can care less about the chronic back pain that is caused by the spinal fusion. 45 min wait times at her office and she spends 5min in the room with you.

Dr. Saatman was extremely clear and concise about my diagnosis and treatment. She is caring, intelligent and a tremendously gifted surgeon. My surgery and recovery were better and easier than I had anticipated. Nicole (admin. assistant) and Michael (P.A.) were incredibly patient and understanding. Telephone calls were returned promptly and all of my concerns were addressed thoroughly. What started out as a very intimidating experience for me turned into a breeze! Thank you!
