I have been a patient of Dr Katchers for many many years. She has seen me through many of life's challenges. I had another PC for a short while and quickly switched back. So kind, thorough, and genuine. She'll be my doctor until she retires, or I do! Whichever comes first!
Unfortunately, this doctor is not a good listener of patients, lacks empathy, but rather does what pharmas and insurance companies tell her to do, rather than what is best for you as the patient. If you try to discuss treatments with her, and she disagrees with what you would like, either you go along with what she wants or she dismisses you as a patient. No middle ground, all or nothing. I would not recommend seeing this doctor. Wonderful PCP. Always calm, positive and attentive. Really cares about her patients and the overall care they are receiving. A gem among doctors.
