Dr. Donna A. K. Kalauokalani

I had the privilege of being a patient of Dr. K's for about 2 years before the Feds stepped in, and made extreme pain not an issue for about 4 million Americans of all ages. There are not enough words I can provide of praise; her professional merit; and most importantly all the human love and caring she provides for her patients. After 20 years of lack of help; symptom recognition, understanding and actual ridicule, by 4 other "Pain Professionals" in the Folsom area; I had decided that I couldn't accept the pain any longer, and to simply end it. My wife insisted I at least see Dr. K at least once first. She walked in the room; looked at my face; and actually; physically gave me a hug; and told me that she would find a way to help me. If the Feds really understood the drug abuse problem; and I was still able to see her; I could spend the rest of my days enjoying/ instead of hating life
