Dr. Sullivan has horrible bedside manner, is arrogant, rude and condescending. My husband has continually felt belittled and like he is not being truly heard. Dr. Sullivan lacks empathy and sympathy.

I had a broken knee replacement joint due to a fall. Surgeon who did the replacement had retired so I needed someone to fix it. Another surgeon wanted me to lose a little more weight before he would fix it so I had my records sent to Dr Sullivan to get a second opinion. I was unable to walk without assistance by this time. Dr Sullivan walked into the exam room with an armful of charts and folders and said to me that I was old, fat, diabetic, I'll get an infection, lose my leg and die anyway so why fix it. I burst into tears but managed to tell him that I'm not diabetic, so he had the wrong chart. He just left me totally devastated and it was another year before I got into Mayo Clinic, where the surgeons there totally repaired all of the damage to my leg and I did not have an infection before, during, or after! After 3 1/2 years of excruciating pain and immobility, I'm walking everywhere again and have lost 40 pounds. I would never recommend this heartless person to anyone.
