Dr. Ross completly resolved my cervical vertebral disc injury in a single day-surgery. He's brilliant, modest and will not do more invasive procedures (as some do) in order to increase his billings. I'm a medical professional and recognize Don Ross as one of the very best there is.

Dr Ross was one of my surgeons when he worked at the U of M Hospital. Not only is he a good surgeon, he's a good person too.

Dr. Ross has done two surgeries on my husband at the Portland VA. He also noted risks too high on third. Trust this man completely with my husbands medical conditions. Very open and up front with his opinions, and if he feels the risks are too high for his patients, he will explain it to you in english, not always medical terms. If I could give him 100 stars, I would!

Great doctor! Great staff! Great hospital and a life changing successful surgery! I had been struggling with a bulging disc for years in my lower back. After lots of searching, I ended up at OHSU with Dr Ross and his staff. Dr. Ross went out of his way for me and even remained late one night when I was held up in xray. Rather than having me reschedule, he helped me out by staying late. I have never had one of my doctors do this! It saved me 1 1/2 hours of car time which is brutal when hurting. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Office nurses have been wonderful and kind too. Pre-operation screening was a pleasant experience. Everyone there smiled, laughed and made it easy. On operating day, it was calm. Multiple people that would be involved came in to explain what was going on and what would happen. Asked if I had any questions and made me feel at ease. The team that prepped me were fast and friendly This injury has allowed me to meet numbers of doctors, assistants, nurses, physical therapists, etc. That being said...
