I first saw Dr. Rohl when he was in Cleveland. He listened to all of my concerns and after a thorough exam talked t I me, not down to me. Explained all of my options and decided on surgery . He then moved to Columbus. I continue to see him. He has the best bedside manner and is amazing at what je does. I have referred him to my family and friends. Definitely worth the drive. Couldn't ask for a better physician.

Dr Rohl is just the best, very knowledgeable and kind. He seems more like a good friend and I have recommended him to many people in our area which is 2 hours away.

I was suffering from severe sciatica pain beginning in May 2022. I tried multiple types of treatment for relief with no success. Dr. Rohl was recommended to me by a family friend who had been a patient of his and undergone surgery. She was very happy with the outcome. I made an appointment with him and underwent surgery at the beginning of January 2023. I am so happy to be relived of the non ending debilitating pain. Dr role is a good dr. He is upfront on what he tells you. He couldn't help me but referred me to Cleveland clinic

I was very impressed with Dr. Rohl, he had looked at my X-rays and was immediately prepared with diagnosis and plan of action. He was very warm, friendly and explained everything so that you could understand. I was immediately comfortable with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone with back problems and pain.

Dr Rohl is a very excellent physician/surgeon who explains medical issues and offers solutions to the problems. He is up front and honest with the patient while being kind and understanding of individual situations. His office staff is always available to get answers to your questions. The post operative recovery program is precisely explained so the patient knows what they can do to obtain the best results from the surgery. Dr Rohl gave me my life back at 74 by correcting my lumbar spine problems that had plagued me for several years. I am so thankful that I went to see him and got excellent care and treatment.

I would recommend your service to everbody.I have been through he'll for the last 6 years and after my second surgery I believe he done a great job fixing my back .Some pain yet but iam sure I will get through this. I think Dr.Rohl is an excellent doctor . I was so scared to get surgery but he made me feel at ease. Not only did I have surgery I had to do it all over on more of my back second surgery .A couple of years have past I have been falling a lot and in pain so I called and asked for him they said ok. Friendly, personable, and professional

The drs are attentive and the staff are friendly and concerned. I like going there.

Due to my age and previous back surgery, I was somewhat apprehensive about having this second surgery. I was put at ease due to the fact , I felt comfortable with Dr. Rohl and the described procedure. He had actually assisted with my previous surgery. All the staff I had contact with were kind and congenial. I had severe pain the day of the surgery but was kept as comfortable as possible, and was able to be released in 4-5 days. My progress was amazingly quick with excellent healing at each check up. I am without pain at my 1 year review, and as long as I don't over do it, I function normally. My sister is seeing Dr. Rohl for severe pain. He shared information he saw in the MRI with both of us and asked questions about my sister seeking a response from each of us. From my initial consultation to my 6 month follow up Dr Rohl’s office is in my opinion the finest in the field.

I saw nurse practitioner both times First time I saw Dr for a quick MAYBE 5 minutes, at the end of my consult. This time nurse practioner again....no mention of my therapy he prescribed never asked what excersizes I had been doing....explained 2 options that I could possibly have, 1- epidural shots in low back( I never DID get a chance to discuss the Rest of my back and also neck pain)#2 or possibly spinal fusion. Never got to discuss my MRI that was ordered by Dr or look at it with him and him SHOW ME AND EXPLAIN THINGS. We drove 2 &1/2 hrs to hopefully get better care than what is in our immediate area. I am REALLY tired of feeling rushed and things not being Shown or Explained by Drs....Dr's.... what they get pd per visit Also for surgeries ect....we Deserve at least 10 or 15 minutes of the DOCTOR'S time!. Everywhere u go anymore u have to talk to a nurse practitioner! How do u decide Who Gets quality time with the Dr???? Someone who can Barely walk perhaps? But Not someone who is in constant pain every day of their lives???? I want to feel Taken Care Of.....and Confident ....not walking out with question marks floating above my head! This was one of the most efficient timely doctors appointments I had ever been too! The doctor was thorough and relatable, I would recommend OrthoNeuro to anyone and Dr Rohl in particular! For a doctors appointment it was actually enjoyable and I left feeling empowered with my own health!

Dr Rohl was on top of my back issues. He was able to pin point what I needed for recovery and continued to follow up to make sure all was good.

Dr Rohl was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed concerned with my condition. He arranged for follow-up work with other doctors.

Dr Rohl explained everything in Laymans terms and spent a great deal of time with me.

D.O. Rohl performed a great surgery procedure on my back. He explains things to you that you need to know. He explains what you need to do for healing up after surgery and you must follow his directions!

Very Good Doctor and explain everything to me

My total experience was been fantastic! Just had my first checkup following my back surgery and we are 100 % satisfied. I would recommend Dr Rohl for your back problems.

He is a wonderful doctor but I was very disappointed that once he sent me to nerve specialist, the receptionist area made me wait over a month for a follow up with Dr Rohl. As a result I am waiting to get help from pain specialist. Three months and counting I’m still in pain and have no plan for relief from anyone. ????

He is very informative his bedside manner is top notch. He explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. I didn’t have to have surgery like two other doctors had said. He cares about his patients and isn’t out there to do surgery just for the money.

He is wonderful

My name is Jerry Anderson. I am 74 years of age. I had a very bad accident at the age of 25. I fell off the top of a corn crib on my farm and broke my back. I have lived with pain in my lower back for most of my life. I have had multiple shots for pain, surgery to relieve the pain down my leg, and now my spine has weaken from my last surgery of having too much bone cut away. This made more room for the nerves , being pinched, etc. .. I'm so happy to say that my family Dr., Dr.. Bennington, referred me to see Dr. Rohl D. O. After having test that reveiled my problem, I believe I can have a quality life ahead of me. Dr. Rohl has done an excellent job with performing a surgery on my back. The procedure helps to give the area lots of support to end most of my pain. His Availability was second to none, especially for specialist . Dr. Rohl was very confident as to diagnosing my sons injury and fortunately his diagnoses was accurate. During the Initial visit he took a good amount of time to get to know my son and figure a recovery plan. Much appreciation!

Dr Rohl did lower back surgery on me on 10/22/20. Having surgery during prime covid time was a bit of a concern but Dr Rohl and his team and the New Albany surgical center were up to the job. In one day and home the next all went as well as could be expected! Now 10/14/21 all is going well and I'm back to playing golf 5 days a week! Dr. Rohl is by far the best Dr I've ever dealt with. I had a laminectomy done in April 2019(not Dr Rohl) and by June was in pain again. I went to see Dr Rohl in June of 2021 and had surgery in July. I feel so much better and had a better recovery period with this surgery than I had with the first surgery. I highly recommend Dr Rohl to anyone with back issues. Dr. Rohl did an excellent job with my back surgery. My recovery is advancing better than expected. However, I’m not sure I would recommend OrthoNeuro. It is impossible to get through to his office. Calls are frequently not returned. Their patient portal is not functioning so you can’t get information such as visit summaries or test results. Nor can you send messages. I had to go to the office and request information in person. I also had to do my own research to find answers to my questions. Side note, Dr. Rohl’s PA s wonderful! I was in pain from my sciatica right side from March 2020 until August 2020 at that time Dr Rohl operated on my back NO pain. In September my left side sciatica started again pain left hip left knee left ankle pain from a 6 to 10 plus. This continued 24 hours a day 7 days a week untill I was cleared July 13. This was a 2 year follow up appt after a very successful back surgery

I have been seeing Dr. Rohl for over 4 years ago. After being told I must have surgery and will be in pain the rest of my life, I sought a second opinion and found Dr. Rohl. Through therapy and working with me, we avoided surgery and I spent 4 pain free years. Fast forward and I went to see him again due to severe pain. I had a bad slipped disc that look as if it would not heal and I was miserable. Dr. Rohl wanted to schedule surgery immediately but I talked him into waiting so I could do a family vacation. I was miserable but starting feeling better about 2 weeks before surgery. Some pain but reduced. As I went in for surgery, Dr. Rohl reviewed my case and my improvement and said he could not ethically do the surgery that the risk no longer outweighed the benefit. It appeared as if I was healing on my own. While I will eventually need surgery, he said today is not the day. Wow is all I can say. This says volumes about his integrity and doing the right thing. He has been caring for my spine since 2011. I have had 3 spine fusions so far. More surgeries to come as we move up the spine. But not today. He will never perform a surgery before it is really needed. Thank you Doctor Rohl and your gang.

Dr. Rohl and his PA were awesome! Both were very easy to talk to and very thorough in explaining all the steps in this process. I like that he doesn’t try to talk anyone into surgery even though it might be his strong recommendation. He really wants what is best for his patients.

Dr Rohl has operated on both my wife and me. I would not be able to to walk were it not for his quick diagnosis and action. My wife would not let me even consider talking to anyone else based on the success she had with her surgery. I trust his judgment implicitly and highly recommend him for any back issues.

I was not given any insight into why I am in pain.
