Dr. Mcmahon is great, but his office staff totally sucks. They neglect to call in prescriptions on a regular basis, which makes renewal a MONTHLY HASSLE. Rarely will they retun your call when you leave a message. My daughter ended up in the hospital twice because they failed to send her prescriptions to the pharmacy. He has been taking care of me for around 8 years, and I have always been listened to, cared for compassionately, and treated like I mattered. Unlike some other doctors, he really listens to how you feel, and doesn't try to tell you how you feel. all around outstanding physician and person.

Wow! I can’t tell you what a awesome Doctor Donald McMahon is he always talks everything though with me, he caught my cancer early as he always covers all the bases! I would really like to keep him a secret but I felt guilty by not sharing so here it is.

This is the best doctor I've ever had. He is patient, kind and very thorough. I never leave his office feeling like I was rushed. He pays attention to what you have to say and addresses all of your concerns. When I lost my health insurance, he made it possible for me to use his services because he really does care about his patients.

Dr. McMahon was my Dr at St. Francis in Mooresville. The Dr I was seeing for a few years was leaving and a new Dr would be replacing him. I was ask if I wanted to switch Dr's or see Dr. MCmahon, I said "No I will give him try, hopefully he doesnt think I am crazy, and he stays longer than the last one" Upon my first visit with Dr. McMahon I was nervous before he entered the room all kinds of crazy thoughts were running through my mind, he knocked on the door and came in with a huge smile and greeted me by my name...he was very personable and I felt very comfortable talking to him and telling him things about my health concerns. I left that day feeling great about Dr. McMahon becoming my primary Dr. When I heard he was moving to Indianapolis I was heartbroken. I didn't want to see any other Dr. So I followed him to Indianapolis....he continues to be my primary Dr, and I am so thankful for him. An understanding down to earth Dr. who is straight forward, honest, caring, and listens...he actually spends more than 5 minutes with his patients, he makes sure all your concerns are answered before he leaves the room. His passion for helping others is something you not only see but feel while you are there. I would recommend Dr. McMahon to all my Family and Friends. He's a great doctor and treats me more like a person rather than a number. Hands down best doctor I've ever had and I used to dread doctor visits.

Dr. McMahon has been both my kid's Dr. for 20 years and has now been mine for the last year and I have had better care, concern and compassion then i did with any other dr. He talks through every aspect of your health care needs and choses the best possible method for you. I have referred him to many family and friends and now several of them see him. He is a truly EXCELLENT Dr and will always have my 5 * vote. Juanita

I was a patient of his for 12 years. I have a very serious neurological condition which causes a great deal of pain. He prescribed valium to me as a muscle relaxer. Two months later he drug tested me. A month later, I went in for my scheduled appointment and was told, "I'm sorry but we canceled your appointment & you are no longer welcome at this office because your drug screen tested positive for valium." He refused to even speak to me about it. It took nearly a year to find a new doctor.
