He has been my husbands doctor for years and he took care of him above and beyond. Very thorough, very professional , knowledgeable with an excellent bedside manner. Highly recommended.

I am the wife of his patient for years. What an amazing physician he is. He is an exceptional asset to the community. He is a very concern doctor to his patient. He calls patient after office hours for lab results and to follow the patients condition. When you call his office he has a very responsible staff to relay the message to him and he calls back right away. I have never experience to have a doctor who cares for his patients like his own family. Very professional, knowledgeable, caring , exceptional with his practice. They had issues in the past with office staff but Dr McGrorey is a very caring Dr that will take the time to really help you. He genuinely cares and you aren’t just another number in his practice. I am a new patient of the doctors and I have seen reviews from a couple of years ago. I can tell you that things have changed, because Bianca is now in the office and we could not be happier. She returns calls, usually within an hour or two. Prescriptions are filled immediately and she schedules all of the doctors virtual visits. She is a dream to work with.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. McGrorey for several yrs. Yes there have been problems in the past with his office staff, but he has it under control now. We moved here from Wyoming, Doc's style of practicing medicine is like a small town doctor that knows you and your family. He is very caring about your health needs. He is easy to talk to about anything. If you have lab work done and he sees something he doesn't like he will call you at home, no matter the time of day. I am a patient here. I can never get a call back or even get scheduled for an appointment. Do not recommend and am looking for a new Dr as of today.

I use to work for Donald Mcgrorey & he was a GREAT doctor. Unfortunately, the first time I was employed by him I was let go due to the current office manager not allowing me to send off blood draws. She wanted me to double bill the patients insurance which is FRAUD. So, she let me go. A few years later, I get a call from the old office manager (not the one who wanted me to do fraud but the previous manager who was let go to bring in the fraud lady) wanting me to come back to work. I quit my current job where I was getting paid 3$ more, to drive an hour and a half to “help” fix what the previous employees have done. The laboratory is not up to “code”. OSHA would have a hay day if they walked into his office & it’s not his fault. The employees and the office managers that he has had has completely took advantage of the poor guy and it SHOWS. It was my responsibility to get that laboratory up to code and get phlebotomy started again, xrays started AGAIN, AND In house testing. BUT, due to the lack of knowledge from previous staff the laboratory is beyond dirty, unorganized and not up to code. I quit my job and left because it was something different each day. One day the laboratory was going to be shut down, the next day he wanted it to be up and running. But, it was soooooo hard when he couldn’t make up his mind on which software to use for ordering supplies, he doesn’t want to order supplies, and when it’s brought up to him it’s “not right now I can’t deal with that.” The front office staff ALWAYS overbooks his level 5 patients which STRESSES HIM OUT and makes his days harder as a doctor. I went to Dr. McGrorey 2 times, he was okay but his front office help are horrible...and when you call the office the recording is on and you have to leave a message that NEVER EVER gets returned...I got myself a new doctor now and hopefully the front office is better, I also got a bill from Quest for blood work done and Medicare turned it down because the office did not put the necessary information codes on the bill so I am stuck with a 517.00 bill...unfreaking believable.

Dr. McGrorey is great. His office staff is the worst. Constant turnover. No follow through. No returning of calls. Long wait times on the phone only to get put on hold again.

I had been going to Dr. McGrorey for 2 years this last visit was the worst, The ladies that work in his office are awful and do not tell the truth this is the first time I have ever had this problem with a doctors office I was trying to change the appointment and instead they told me I would have to pay a $25 change fee if I did not show up I informed them that I had another dr. appointment that afternoon and the last time I came the appointment was a couple of hours he didn't even see me for more then an hour and a half past my appointment time , so I told the front desk lady on the phone that if I was not taken on time I could not stay too much longer then the appointment time, because of my other appointment, she told me I was being rude, not true . I showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early and at appox. 15 minutes after she said I would have to pay $100 for my visit which on my insurance I have a zero co pay for PCP. Very caring doctor but his office and billing department are in desperate need of customer service and organizational skills.

They won’t allow patients to be seen with family members because it’s a “waste of the doctors time” to have to answer their questions too and the “wives of old men ask him to do extra stuff” therefore wasting his time... Unbelievable.

If I could give a negative star I would. I've been seeing this doctor for a couple of years, but I can't do it anymore. My referrals never get sent. After 2 weeks of no response I call and they always have an excuse. Then it takes at least another week and I have to call again. I had an appt today(after waiting 3 weeks). When I made the appt they asked me what I needed to be seen for. I stated 3 different issues. They said ok great see you then. When I got to the office, the nurse took my weight, blood pressure etc. Asked me what of the 3 things was the most important. I said, ALL OF THEM! She said I would need to make 3 separate appts as he will not see me for more than 1 issue at a time. WHAT?!?!?!? Are you freaking serious? They blame the insurance. I don't think so. Dr. Mcgrorey is a very good doctor; I have been with him for 5 years, the problem is his office staff, he has had 3 office managers in 5 years and uses student medical technicians for staff. The current Office Manager is unprofessional. The office staff stinks.

Waited 3 weeks to see the doctor and wouldn’t even see me because I wanted my fiancée to come in with me. Why would I want to see a doctor if they don’t even let someone you’ve requested to be there in with you. He just lost two patients. The staff tried to lie and say they talked to him about it when they didn’t and tried to back track saying they had asked him in the past. That is more upsetting. Every time I have gone to this Dr in the last two years there has been a new office staff... With new procedures. None of my husband or my referrals have been put through on time or correctly, they overcharged me, and my medication has gotten mixed up. I would not recommend anyone go here if the want good medical care.

Dr Mcgrorey is the best doctor i have ever had. One of the very few left who actually truly care about their patient.

Dr. McGrorey is the most carying and nice Person I can imagine. Beside this he is a very good diagnostician and I always feel safe and secure. The office staff treats me very friendly and respectful. They go above and beyond to answer all my questions.

The doctor is great. He takes time to listen to questions and thoroughly and professionally answers them. His nurses are great too. I too would say his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They have never been rude to me; however, they are very hard to get a hold of by phone.

Terrible doctor, doesn't seem to really know what he is doing, does not follow up with his patients or return calls, beware

My first time coming here, I was sitting in the waiting room from 10:15. My appointment was at 10:30 I did not get seen until 11:50. The staff was so nice but they put me with the new nurse, she ask the other nurse for help and she told her to figure it out. The room was clean and sanitized but they put me and my 1 year old in a room that the air was off due to the ignorance of someone stealing the batteries out of the thermostat, which is understandable but there were other rooms that had air. The nurse that did my blood work was shaking and the needle went in and out my arm, I had thrombophlebitis for a couple of days. I had my appointment on the 28th of August and today I went in and asked about the results of my blood work, they gave me a copy of my results. Got an appointment 9/19 at 1:45 arrived here at 1:25 and at 2:10 I walked out due to them just sitting me in a room and forgetting I was in there. As I was walking out they were bringing an elderly couple to a room to sit them in there. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. So get this they don't do any of my referrals like I stated in a previous post my blood work never comes in. The referral for one of my doctors is due tomorrow I called them today they told me that they never wrote me a referral for that. The doctor straight-up lied to me I told them that I talked to their referral specialist 2 weeks ago and they said no it's not in the notes they basically tried to blame all of their mistakes and problems on me . They said since I didn't make a follow-up appointment there was no way for them to give me proper care and I told them that I already came to an appointment where you did not have my blood work results ready so you needed to call me and let me know when the blood work came in guess what the blood work still hasn't come in and that was 3 months ago. they straight lied to my face about it. Then I went to my doctor I needed the referral for got a universal referral got it filled out and was going to bring it to thier office all they had to do was fill in 4 blanks I basically did their job for them and they told me that I can't do that because I would need to be seen By them even though they were supposed to have done this referral 3 months ago. Despite having always gone with an appointment u was never seen on time. Sometimes waiting hours. Referrals were sent to specialist weeks late. Call backs to forever. Had an issue with a referral that was sent then canceled with in the same hour but they never took responsibility even when I was told by the insurance that had done it. I like the Dr but I always have issues. I’ve called 10+ times and it rings once and is sent to a voicemail that says “we will get back to you in 24-48hrs, please don’t leave multiple messages”. Um??? How about answer the phone? I’ve never even heard the phone ring when I’m here waiting for my appt. The other day I waited 2 hours to be seen. Imagine if I had other things to do? And what is this business about fill out this intake form every time you come in even if you were here 3 days ago. Oh and they actually don’t look at the intake sheet because as soon as I get back to the room the intake person asks me the same exact questions. Seriously? Thats redundant and only puts me in a bad mood that you made me fill it out for nothing. And asking when my last menstral cycle was when I’m clearly pregnant, just means there’s no common sense. I love Doctor McGrorey because once he sees you, he really listens and does what's best for you. When I had to go in for an emergency appendectomy, he called to ask if I was ok after my surgery. The only reason for my 3 stars is that it is impossible to get in with an appointment because no one ever answers phone calls and the turn around in staff means there's always someone new learning how to do things which is why their records are ALWAYS behind. Dr. McGrorey is the best doctor i've found in Vegas so far. I also work in healthcare, and with that inside perspective I can honestly say he is more thorough and caring than most. He will take time to answer all your questions and won't cut corners.

My significant other and I have been to this office twice now. First a week ago for annual check ups, and we dropped by the office again this morning to get blood work done. If I could leave '0' stars, I would. Early in 2017, the doctor's staff was friendly and competent. Since this summer it looks like the office had a full staff turnover. The new staff is rude, phone calls are not answered, and they don't inform you when results are available. In addition, staff members provide different reasons for the same issue. Unfortunately, I am changing doctors because of the staff, not the doctor.

Itsbeen ckise to 10 years since i have went to a doctor and close to 20 years since i have been sick. I am pleased with randomly selecting Dr. Donald McGrorey, MD as my primary physician. He was knowledgeable about my symptoms and made me feel as if my concerns had validity for my visit the staff were very helpful and considerate

Staff is incredibly rude especially considering this is a healthcare environment. They got my appointment time wrong and attempted to belittle me for their mistake. I know this isn't Dr McGrorey's fault directly, but his front office staff is representative of him and his practice as a whole.

The office staff at this office is very incompetent. They seen me in November of 2016 and called me in July saying I owed $30 for a copay in January 2016 which I paid and showed proof. The next day they called me again and said I owed $205 for 2 visits 11/12016 and 11/2/2016. HPN told them how to fix it they claimed they never spoke to me or HPN. They sent me to collections over the office staffs mistake. then I asked to speak to the Dr. to solve this and they told me I have to pay for that.

Made an appointment online.... Cleares my day because I desperately need to see doctor after 2 weeks of terrible headache. Was told that there is no possibility of seeing dr because they are too busy & that online scheduling doesn't work properly.

Was looking for a good doctor seen reviews, but when I went there it was 2 hrs before I seen the doctor, he could only help me with one thing on the visit because they were to busy asked for blood to be taking, but they didn't have time to do that either , Nia told me to call on a Friday after 1 ,when I called they were to busy again so they told me they had 10 day's to get back with me but try tomorrow, so I call the next day still to busy. We will NEVER return to this doctor again. Both my husband and I have had on going issues with this doctor and his staff. We are now fighting with our insurance company due to an audit because his billing department, which he outsources didn't use the correct billing codes. He also diagnosed us with some "pre-existing conditions" which he reported to our insurance company and not us! We are perfectly healthy and have had second opinions. Didn't address all my concerns. Took over a week to get a referral. 2 hour wait time. Be prepared to sign your life away with their extra fees.

Nice Guy, and he has good equipment, but his staff does not know how to bill for insurance. I received a bill after 6 months with a whopping 600 dollars due! I have great insurance, but apparently they do not know how to utilize it.

Always a great experience with both Dr. McGrorey and his team. They see the worse of us, and give the best of them. Thank you for listening to patients, prioritizing our needs, and being so caring. Not looking forward to being sick, but I'm glad everyone in the office takes good care of me.

I liked him. He listened to me, asked questions, I was not rushed, he answered my questions, his staff was really nice, and he called me after hours on a Friday to give me results of an X-ray that he surely could've gotten away with until he was at work on Monday but he thought I would like to know. I have always been very impressed with that and he was right. I was worried and I was glad to know.
