WORST DOCTOR EVER... NO PATIENT FOR PEOPLE... INCOMPETENT

Arrogant, rushed, condescending, and dismissive. Not a good person, or doctor, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this guy

The staff at Boulder Valley ENT were able to schedule an appointment for me quickly based on my symptoms. Dr. Maschka and the audiologist completed a thorough exam and Dr. Maschka perscribed an effective treatment.

I see Dr. Maschka on an annual basis mostly for precautionary removal of ear wax, dead skin build up by my mastoid bone in each ear. He does a careful, complete job cleaning out the gunk. Waiting time is also minimal.

This is how healthcare should work. Setting up the appointment was quick, easy, and even pleasant. I was welcomed by the staff and had just a short wait before proceeding to the exam room, where I waited a brief time for Dr. Maschka. When he arrived, he listened to my concerns and proceeded to an exam during which he shared what he was doing and why. He conveyed his findings clearly and suggested a path forward that was appropriately conservative (no need to rush to overly aggressive intervention). I cannot imagine a better experience.

I am so pleased with the care I received from this office. Having relocated to the area, my kids needed follow up care for ear tubes and adeniod surgeries immediately. From the initial call to schedule to the visit, everything went so smoothly. Both my son and I had recent ear/sinus infections and we were thoroughly explained treatment options and all concerns were addressed with care. Dr. Maschka, his P.A, and audiologist all provide the highest level of balanced, coordinated care.

Dr. Maschka went above and beyond with me today and showed genuine interest/concern.

Dr. Maschka made a life-saving diagnosis of my condition, oversaw the analysis, and was very proactive in sharing findings and setting up treatment. He's very smart, experienced, and totally competent.

Dr. Maschka is a very thorough and extremely patient doctor. Listens to your concerns and explains every procedure to your satisfaction.

Dr.Donald A. Maschka....I can not say enough positive things about him! I have been suffering from a blocked and infected salivary gland and he was incredible; with not only helping me through the acute pain stage of this, but taking the action necessary to try and uncover the issue! His demeanor was compassionate and he was calm, cool and collected while dealing with all my pain. He gave my partner as much respect as he gave me. DR. MASCHKA DID A GOOD JOB WITH MY WAX REMOVAL ON 05/04/2018, MY EARS FELT BETTER. HE SAID BOTH EARS LOOKED GOOD. I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH HIS VERY SHORT ANSWERS WHEN I ASKED. SADLY THE SAME DISCOMFORT IN MY LEFT EAR RETURNED THE NEXT DAY. I FOUND ANOTHER ENT DOCTOR WHO EXAMINED MY LEFT EAR THROUGHLY INCLUDING THE MIDDLE EAR PRESSURE TEST FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HE FOUND THE PROBLEM EASILY AND TREATED IT QUICKLY. HE SAID THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN THERE FOR A LONG TIME AND IT WAS EASY TO SEE IT.

Dr. Maschka was extremely knowledgeable and a kind and relatable physician. He took the time to explain my sinus condition to me in a way I could understand. When I called back to the office to schedule my follow-up and ask additional questions, the office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Maschka and his practice to anyone with ear, nose, or throat issues.

My family and I love Dr. Maschka and his practice. Dr. Maschka has a very calm energy and his presence is very reassuring. He has our highest recommendation as a physician. His clinic and the allergy services they provide have made a lasting impact on our lives.

Dr. Maschka interrupted me & didn't listen to me. He insisted that what was causing my sinus problem was GERD which I do not have. I felt very dismissed. When I suggested I didn't think I was being heard I was told that I could go somewhere else. His office was supposed to make an appointment for a CT scan and just didn't do it. I had to call to ask about my appointment. Finally, he prescribed medications that I didn't understand and was treated like I was an idiot for asking questions.

I asked for treatment options several times, I was told to come back in ONE YEAR for an issue effecting my daily life. I was also charged over $250 to use a scope down my nose.

Dr. Maschka is a fantastic physician. My appt was on time, the front office staff was proficient and friendly, the office is clean and the physician spent an adequate amount of time with me. Reassured me, educated me, gave me a thorough exam and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this office to everyone.
