Dr. Hammett was responsible for saving my life in 1982! I will remember him forever . I was 27, pregnant , & very sick . He was caring, compassionate, and attentive. I had 3 of the 4 types of Tuberculosis & I was pregnant! If not for him, I would be here to adopt my 2 children, & be awaiting the birth of my 5th grandson. I will never forget opening my eyes in recovery after losing my child & seeing his red plaid shirt in my line in sight! It was a comfort to know he was there, caring.
