I waited 3 months for a consult at the URMC sleep center. My telehealth visit with Dr. Greenblatt seemed to go well. I put a lot of time and effort into preparing for the visit and provided him with a lot of information regarding my long-term sleep problems and medical history. He was an empathetic listener. I waited another month until a sleep study monitor became available. I waited another month for my follow up appt to go over the results where I I was told by the PA that I was only tested for sleep apnea. She said that they don't treat any other sleep disorders i.e. insomnia. The PA also told me that she didn't have access to anything from my consult with Dr. Greenblatt because he did not document anything that I shared with him. It seems like this 4 month process was a waste of time. I have an appointment to seek a 2nd opinion with a competitor who already seems more thorough about what they will be treating me for.

Dr Don Greenblatt is an awesome physician and his staff treats you like family! Love you all to the moon and beyond! Eloise, here’s that virtual HUG for you that I promised ????

DrGreenblatt is excellent unfortunately his staff is horrible and his physician assistants are very inexperienced and the 1 is extremely rude on top of it! You play phone tag for weeks and you go round in circles with the pa's because they cannot answer basic questions. I know of 2 other patients that won't go back because of the staff also. It's too bad because the doctor himself is so knowledgeable but you can't get past his horrible staff to talk to anyone with real knowledge.
