If you are okay with paying very high rates out of your own pocket, and not getting calls returned or appointments confirmed. This is a great place to go. Our initial visit with dr. Lee was very pleasant but it soon became apparent that his administrative practices are outdated to the point of being practically non-existent. When I asked for a copy of the receipt from our first visit so I could get reimbursed by my insurance, I was told they don't have electronic records of the visit and the carbon copy I received the first time around was the best they could do. Tried to call repeatedly to confirm appointments but never got a response. 9 MONTHS after my son's 3rd and final visit, we received an invoice for a missed appointment fee of $150. Call his office to discuss it and never heard back. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised... Dr. Lee has a reputation for being very highly-skilled, but the fact that he will not accept insurance payments and his office's antiquated practices are a non-starter for me. Dr Lee truly cares about his patients. He is devoted to each and every child, helping them to succeed in life and finding their happiness. I feel as though he saved my family.

My son started seeing Dr. Lee at a very young age. Right before he turned 5. My son had severve ADHD to the point where he would run into the street (even when I had a harness on him), he'd jump off the top of SUVs & roofs of houses, etc. To me it was a matter of life or death & my son's pediatrician wouldn't prescribe ADHD meds for a child that was so young. Dr. Lee always took the time to listen & genuinely cared for my son & family. We no longer live in the area but saw Dr. Lee for about 5 years. My son is now 13, in 8th grade, an A/B honor roll student & active in many sports. I truly believe if my son didn't have the help he needed at such a young age he would not be looking at a bright future as he is now. Thank you Dr. Lee! I started seeing Dr. Lee when I was 14 years old, fresh out of the hospital. At first he was fine. Over time perhaps he got tired of me, but he began refusing to change my medication for any reason no matter how bad the side effects were or whether it was working or not. Predictably I would quit taking it myself and end up in the hospital. Each time he would still refuse to listen to my concerns or help me. Once he told me “nobody would care very much if you killed yourself, you know?” I understand he was frustrated but to me that is inexcusable, especially since he is primarily a child psychiatrist—imagine if he said that to a child or teenager! Anyway, I found another psychiatrist who actually treats me with respect now and I have seen a huge reduction in symptoms and have stayed out of the hospital for over a year, whereas when I was seeing Dr. Lee I was in and out of the hospital every few months, usually because he refused to work with me or change my meds in any way.
