I got excellent treatment with Dr.Vande Maele , I had surgery and i recuperated from surgery really good, Office staff was really nice as well .

Dr. Vande Maele has been my Dr. for over four years. In that time I have been though surgery for a hernia repair, gallbladder removal, cancerous portion of my colon removed, and three colonoscopies. On each occasion I was treated with the highest level of dignity and respect. Dr. Vande Maele is truly gifted surgeon and a professional in the truest since of the word. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or family.

I was referred by Dr. Irina Minina. I am having an issue with loose stool. I will be having a colonoscopy.

He did a great job. Just what he said. 1st day after surgery felt relief. He’s good, his wait times are less than 20 minutes. This is how healthcare is supposed to be.

Dr. Vande Maele is great. He listens to you & works long hours. He came to my hospital room at 11:00pm to check on me before my morning surgery. In fact, I teased him to go home & get some sleep before my operation1

My visit was on time as scheduled, the doctor listened to my issue, and scheduled the appropriate test. I was able to have the test two days later. Excellent service. I get the report next week. I was referred to Dr. Vande Maele by my cardiologist who has known him for over 20 years. I was very impressed, and hope to use Dr. Vande Maele for many years to come.

My wife and I went to see Dr. Vande Maele back in September, after I was diagnosed with colon cancer. My surgery was done with robotics, i have 4 tiny incisions. Minimal pain, out of the hospital quickly and, back at work after two weeks. He was at the hospital early to visit and always had the answers we needed. No long wait in his office, and the staff was so kind. THANK YOU ALL!!

Dr. Vande Meale is very professional. I like that both of my appointments have been a good experience. My first appointment I went in about 15 minute wait. My second appointment was about a 10 minute wait. Once inside the patient room I only waited for about 5 minutes and the Dr. came in. The only complaint is that he seems very busy and rushes out before I had a chance to ask more questions.

I would definitely recommend Dr Vande Maele. He is very professional, courteous and genuinely interested in your health. His office staff are also the best at what they do.

Excellent experience with Dr Vande Maele, would recommend him to anyone. He was very good about explaining my condition, what treatment and procedures he thought appropriate, and why. He answered all of my questions truthfully and patiently. He came to the hospital every day to check on me, asked how I was feeling, and tell me what was next. He never seemed to be in a rush, took the time to listen to my concerns. I highly recommend him.

Scheduled me 5 days earlier than the next available appt. Due to a cancellation. Then forgot to cancel my may 1 appt. As I had come in early. Still gave me notice of that appointment.

Dr. Vande Maele was very professional, I was extremely satisfied with the exam and the fact that he came to see me after recovery to let me know the results of the exam. I highly recommend him.

Upon calling Dr. Maele’s office to set up my appointment I was deeply impressed with the professionalism my questions were answered with. His entire staff were very professional and answered all my questions. Very nice to find an office with such caring workers.

DR Vande Maele is wonderful! 2yrs ago he saved my life when he repaired a very serious GI and removed a stage 1 polyp.

He is ethical, willing to do a colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy on same day despite less money. He does colonoscopies on people under age 50 who want them, like for chronic constipation. He has a good reputation as a surgeon. His office asks his patients to critique the service that they receive from him and his office. He makes sure that nursing assistants correctly attend to his patients in the hospital (Valley Regional Medical Center).

Through and follows through on everything, Explains in detail even though I interrupt, Answers all questions, great awesome bedside manners, Came very, very highly recommended by my pcp of 37 years, Just gives you a great feeling. At first was worried but after meeting Dr. Vande Maele my mind was at ease. He said he really had to work hard on me as was a nasty Gall Bladder and was able to do all without having to open me up. I am very thankful for having Dr. Vande Maele as my Surgeon.
