Dr. Dominick J Stella

Love Dr. D. Stella! He is the best. He is very methodical in his exams, which is necessary to not forget anything. He then takes the time to explain and discuss any and all issues. He is thorough and not alarming when explaining issues to me. I would recommend Dr. D. Stella to family and friends.

Dr. Stella is a mindful, caring, expert in my view.

Dr. Stella doesn’t seem interested in being a doctor any longer. Seems bored and doesn’t wear a mask.

Dr. Stella is one of the most thorough Dr’s I have met yet. As they say a heart attack is the ‘silent killer’ and that was almost the case with my father and my family had the ‘best’ care for him at Silver Cross Hospital essentially on the spot clearing out 2 arteries that were clogged almost 98 and 99%. Now my mother sees him as well and I fully trust him with his protocols and recommendations for the ones I love most!

Went to visit Dr. Stella on 10/27. No one in his office was wearing a mask, from the receptionist, to the nurse, to Dr. Stella. When I asked Dr. Stella why he wasn't wearing a mask, he told me that the "virus" was not that bad and to stop listening to scientists. I left without being examined. Had a conversation after that with a doctor who would not give me his name and told me that Dr. Stella was told to wear a mask but it was up to him if he wanted to wear one. I find this terrible, especially since I am a senior citizen with a mitral valve problem. Will never go back.

Had an appointment today 10/27/2020. No one in the office, from the front desk, to the nurse, to Dr. Stella was wearing a mask. I asked the nurse to put on a mask and she did. Dr. Stella came in without a mask and I told him I didn't feel comfortable with him not wearing a masks. He told me the virus was not that serious and not to listen to scientists. I left in a hurry without him even examining me. They also did not take my temperature. Will never go back to him.

Terrible. Performed an angiogram on my leg on Dec. 20th. Told me my fema rol artery was blocked and needed a by-pass. Did not recommend anyone. Said he would notify Dr. Bliley my regular cardiologist, who is in the same group. Feb. 4th still have not heard from either. These 2 Drs. are more interested in generating revenue from testing, that is done at the their offices, than caring for patients health.

After a near fatal heart attack about 9yrs ago , I was rushed to Adventist Bolingbrook and luckily he was on call. Absolutely brilliant diagnosis and stent procedure .I'm alive today and now scheduled for another almost 10 yrs later. I'm not too much on bedside manner and could care less about it . This dr is the most arrogant dr i have ever come across , he has a total lack of empathy and kept telling my husband his pain in his chest wasnt from the heart end if dec 17 then my husband kept going to their office dr aziz and dr stella saying hes having pain they dismiss him and have an associate send him to see if he had lung blotclots that was end of January, (husband has 7 stents ,cvd,&diabetes) well he had a heart attack february 17th and angiogram he was 99%blocked at the sight of their stent placement!wasnt his heart huh Dr's? Please find diffrent cardiologists because these 2 have forgotten how to listen to the patient and do all nessasary tests to make sure this doesn't happen absolutely pathetic !They really need more training in the ethics portion of their schooling ! Put the CARE back in health care !
