I was first recommended to Dr Coric from someone in NY. I had done chiropractic, PT, lazor, decompression , injections. I developed numbness and pins and needles that led to falling down and being unable to trust my steps. I live at the NC coast, so traveling to Charlotte was a 3-1/2 hr trip one way. Since Dr Coric was recommended, I decided to go meet with him. He was confident but not pushing me into anything. I took some time to come to the decision to have surgery. I had multiple issues and surgery was 3 to 3-1/2 hrs . At first healing was slow. I had very precise instructions for my home care. After a follow up and 30 days, I started PT. Started feeling better and better. Dr Coric changed my life. I recommend to all with back issues I was first recommended to Dr Coric from someone in NY. Post Surgery Review- Dr. Coric and his team still deserve a 5-Star review. The surgery went extremely well and was completely life changing. My only regret is that I did not pursue Dr. Coric earlier. Going into the morning of surgery, uncertainty existed in my mind as to the actual procedure. Would it be a fusion or artificial disc replacement? During the pre-op meeting at the surgery center Dr. Coric made a statement that I think defines him well as a Surgeon. "It is about the outcome". He wasn't concerned about the type of procedure as he can certainly do both. His concern was the outcome for the patient. Greatly appreciated. Prior to Surgery Review-The staff of Dr Corics office were great to work with through the entire process. They were friendly and positively encouraging. Dr Coric was also extremely polite and took his time to explain options to me as well as educating my wife on the procedures available for my treatment. Dr. Coric is phenomenal at reviewing all the pertinent clinical data including the actual X-ray studies that delineate the findings that align with my diagnosis. Although he is extremely busy, he took the time to answer all my questions and explain options in order to determine next steps. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs his expertise for spine problems. Dr. Coric was thorough, professional and incredibly informative. I have extreme confidence in him and his capabilities.

Dr Coric placed two artificial discs (Mobi-C) above my prior cervical fusion back in the fall of 2016. The procedure and recovery went very well and I was quickly able to resume work and working out again. More recently I have had to look into some issues in my Lumbar spine and once again Dr Coric was very thorough in reviewing my images and test results with me. His analytical approach allows him to develop solid treatment plan that is easy to understand while taking into consideration my life goals and obligations. An amazing neurosurgeon, dedicated to his work to make his patients as healthy and comfortable as possible. I’m much better off with Dr. Coric’s surgery on my back, he did remarkable work. I recommend his team highly!

Dr. Coric has been nothing short of remarkable during my time with him. He resolved an issue with 2 discs in neck that no other physician I had seen could handle. He is a master at his craft and his entire practice, including his excellent team, should be commended. Thank you Dr. Coric.

Reviewed in detail the results of my CT scan and X-rays. Spent a lot of time with me and asked me for any feedback. The visit was very thorough.

My husband and I both had spinal fusion. Dr.Coric was the surgeon for both of us. He is the BEST dr around for this procedure. He and his assistant Justin is extremely knowledgeable about this and they made us feel very confident that everything would be fine, Lord willing! They were very patient and answered any and all questions before the decision for surgery with no rush at all. They made our backs so much better. We would chose Dr Coric and his staff over and over again.

Son and I have both had cervical fusion by Dr Couric. We are very grateful for his kindness and expertise in helping us to continuing a full experience of life.

Everyone was PHENOMENAL

Dr Coric has cared for my spine and back issues for over 20 years and always keeps me aware of treatment options and makes suggestions on diet, exercise, medication, etc. I appreciate his excellent care and thorough explanations. I consider him a friend as well as my back doctor!

Dr. Coric took care of me two Octobers in a row. In 2019, I needed an emergency spinal procedure and he was on call. He followed me during my rehab, which was a scary and long road. Then in 2020, my symptoms returned (as he said was usually inevitable with this type of injury) and I needed a fusion. I trusted him 100% to do this next operation. He kept me well educated on my recovery and how to take baby steps toward better overall health. Dr. Coric and his team are very caring and amazing at what they do. Dr. Coric was worth waiting for. When I found out that I had an issue with my cervical spine, I decided it wasn't something that I wrote be willing to let just any doctor treat. I researched the best spine doctors in Charlotte and decided to go with Dr. Coric. I'm very happy I did. He took the time to clearly explain my problem and offer potential solutions. He answered all of my questions, considered my lifestyle and needs, and set me on a path forward that I am happy with.
