Dionne Gallagher

Dr Gallagher herself is amazing. Direct and to the point, which is perfect for my personality. I had an easy procedure and incredible recovery and am happy living my life pain free. Wait times in the office are another story, while I won't blame her directly for this, it's important for prospective patients to know. My average time waiting without the doctor has been 90 minutes with one appointment at nearly 3 hours with only 10 minutes with the doctor. For me, her skill and bedside manner make it worth it for me, but I can imagine the frustration with people that have less than flexible schedules.

Absolutely loved working with her. She is kind, talented and supportive. She is busy, appointments could be delayed but I felt she took right decisions on time for a smooth pregnancy and post delivery experience.

I do not recommend Dr. Gallagher. I had an absolutely horrible experience. Was treated as a number. Hour to 2 hour wait times and she was always running late. Then would only see me for a minute to 5 minutes. My last visit helped me determine to change my provider. After a 2 hour wait and no joke a 1 minute to 2 minute visit I was done. I understand that doctors can run late but the fact that she didn’t seem to care and then would rush me out the door was not okay with me. This being my first child I have no idea what I’m doing and have tons of questions. She didn’t guide me at all on what to expect or even assist on maybe what questions I should ask or things I should think about.

1.5 hours Waiting time, no proper communication. I would not recommend.

Not professional doctor.waited for 45 minute and then she rushed me and not answering my questions. I changed the doctor and I m happy. Would not recommend her at all.

She is the best. Commanding expertise of her craft. I didn’t even have incision pain. After my experience at another hospital, this is what I needed the second time around.

No fluff, says it how it is. Very wise and knows what’s she’s doing. Her expertise is worth the 30+ minute waits for the appointments (which I used to get frustrated but have become more understanding. Lots of emergencies and unexpected things come up in this field). Dr Gallagher delivered my 2 girls @ Overlake Hospital Bellevue(2013 & 2016)both Cesarean birth. She’s trustworthy, a skilled Doctor.Both my cesarean surgery recovery went very well...still going her once a year my annual visit, even though I moved from Bellevue don’t mind driving. It’s worth it. She’s a great Doctor...

OB Care ~ Dionne is fantastic OB and surgeon, I would recommend her and her team to anybody in the Bellevue area - provided you can get on her schedule - yes, she is that good. She is down to earth and you will consider her a friend more so than an OB; she is personable and has nothing more than you and your babies health in mind. Delivery Day ~ When Dionne enters the OR, she commands attention and her team falls in like soldiers. A C-Section is a very methodical, fluid process and Dionne is a master of this craft. An OR is very intimidating for most people, especially when it involves your child entering this world - but Dionne has control of everything happening in that room - leaving the patient and their spouse feeling very calm in a hectic setting. The whole process was an experience of a lifetime. Do not change anything Doc, keep doing what you do!! Dr. Gallagher's accurate assessment of the situation (understand & explain why the pain was high and why the heart-rate went down momentarily), amazing decision-making ability (go for vaginal delivery instead of C-section) and expertise(guide/motivate how to push effectively for a smooth vaginal birth eventually) mean so much to us. Our entire family is grateful to Dr. Gallagher's service. I would not recommend. With out seeing reviews I went to her for my wife. Very disappointed in all aspects. Waiting time is more, she rush us a lot, fast pace talking, not attention to details, no proper communication, never ever discussed the test results in details rather rushing. For us, it's an important matter, rather explaining in better way we were rushed on phone. Omg, I felt very bad by selecting her as obgn. We highly disappointed. I would not recommend. We felt really bad by choosing her as out born. Please do some search and looking for reviews and take a decision. Waiting time is more, lack of attention to detail, she made us rush. Not conveying properly about test report details....many more. Please stay away and good luck.

I am so thankful to have Dr. Gallagher as my doctor. I have to see her often and every time she is genuinely empathetic and down to earth. She is very knowledgeable and always explains what to expect. She does get right to the point, which may not be appealing to some people but it works for me as I don't feel like she is being pushy. The only down side is that she is more often than not running behind, but she never cuts my time short because of it and gives me her full attention during my appt

Dr. Gallagher has been wonderful in helping me with endometriosis related issues. She is decisive, thoughtful, and precise. Her staff is great, and I never have to wait more than ~15 minutes.

I was struggling with a very long term chronic problem ( can't mention the whole problem due to privacy) and Dr Gallagher could take care of it and making me feel that I cope or even solve my problem with the confidence she gave me! I don't know how to appreciate such big favor and effort she did for me! I had seen so many other therapist and she was the ONE who spent more time to go over my problem! Even though , the waiting time to see her is very long, it was totally worth for me. Thank you!

Doctor with best education, not best bedside manners. Getting more experience with patients hopefully will help her grow... Felt like I had to lead the conversation. During appointment felt rushed after waiting for her 50 minutes +. Maybe great doctor for somebody but not for me...

I would never recommend Dr. Gallagher to anyone I know. She did a poor job reading my test results and missed a major disorder with my baby. You should be very concerned with her skill set and actual time she is willing to give you as a patient. Her lack of attention to detail and test findings put me if a very terrible position. The ultrasound tech is awful and should be ashamed of the way she treated me during my ultrasound.
