personally,i think dr sayani is extremely condescending and she has a total lack of ability to compromise. I think of a condition known as "the god complex" when i think of dr sayani. Shes allowed me to run out of asthma and copd medication on several occaisions because "you havent been seen in the office for over a year" and so I went in for an appointment last november of 2021 after waiting 13 days because she just would not fill that prescription until i had payed her for it ! Same thing happened again 90 days later, refused to fill my meds until i made an appointment and came in. Youd think I was asking for pure fentanyl or something but no, just the stuff that allows me to BREATH !!! but hey,lets be sure your mercedes payments are taken care of,how rude of me, all worried about breathing...so when i got home and checked my email later that day i had an email that SAID it was from Summit and it was a performance review for my appointment and as you might imagine,i didnt pull any punches. i spoke my mind. THE VERY NEXT DAY,that rude office staff someone else spoke of too reared its ugly head when they called and dismissed me as a patient for "statements i made in an email" and thats the ONLY email ive had with these nut jobs but you can BET im gonna be having some conversations with the knoxville bar association and the board of professional responsibility. lets not forget the tennessee board of medical resposibility and the american medical association too. you cant offer a survey and then dismiss a patient because you dont like what they said ! i think thats the very definition of discrimination but i bet she didnt think hillbillies even knew words that big ! Long story short,just go somewhere else ! lol i mean,unless your just looking for a lawsuit,in that case go here. very unprofessional...another example,i got 3 emails and a text telling me to arrive early for paperwork. i spent 30 minutes waiting on them to unlock the door after lunch break,exactly at 1pm,my original appointment time !!! like my time aint worth nothing ?! These people are SO touchy and dr sayani just plain has a god complex...theyre not helpful and if you are bold enough to disagree with this HBIC youll get a nasty phone call from her staff because she might have to face the person shes accusing and she knows shes wrong. She could have all the greatest medical skills in the world but i personally have NEVER met someone so condescending and one sided. If you choose to see this lady be prepared because your own opinions should be kept to yourself and if you offer an opinion she disagrees with or give them a bad review,they immediately terminate your status as a patient...im pretty sure doctors take an oath dont they ? doesnt it say something like "first and above all,i will do no harm?" and wouldnt you folks say its harmful when a patient runs out of lifesaving medications because they have not been in and paid for any office visits this year ? Id call it petty at the very least...

Dr sayani has always been a good dr it's her front desk staff is very rude and needs proper training.

Excellent Doctor

I had a battle with lung cancer 2.5 years ago. Dr Sayani was my new primary care physician at that time. I had only been in her office a couple times. I always felt I was examined thoroughly and compassionately. She listens very Attentively and allows you to express concerns. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a good primary care physician! I recently discovered that my insurance company was No longer going to be excepted by Summit medical group. I was given referrals for other doctors or other insurance companies. She is very good but makes you keep coming back unneccesarily. She will not write your prescriptions for a year. She makes you come back every 3 months. I am healthy so there is no need to do so. She is after the money.

First time scheduling an appointment to a place I’ve never been. Walked in at time of appointment at 10:30 and she said grace period is only 15 minutes to fill paperwork! It was right at 15!! Staff is terrible. She needs to either like what she’s doing or find another job. She wasn’t nice about it.

I'm a registered nurse and know when I'm getting care. I feel like she knows what she's doing and a great listener.

Dr. is good. The staff needs more education in the referral process and more than just the nurse needs to know how to do. Expect delays from your office visit for them to do referrals,

Disorganized office. Office manager rude. Poor documentation of visit. Makes it difficult to get referrals. Often makes mistakes with calling meds into wrong pharmacy. Wants cold cash for filling out forms , refuses debit cards.

Very unorganized office. Made it hard to get referrals. Was told they didn't like my insurance multiple times by MD making me uncomfortable. Wanted cash to fill out forms. Not debit cards but cold cash.ol
