Mrs. Dina B White

I have been seeing DR White for almost 10 years now and she's absolutely amazing I highly recommend her. BUT her staff on the other hand is awful and unreliable which is ruining her reputation and business. Donna is absolutely rude and forceful when she makes phone calls when she doesn't even do her job to begin with properly. I refuse to talk to Donna ever again and honestly she needs to be fired. If you call to make an appointment and Donna answers I recommend you ask for someone else. Also, my entire family and in laws go here so I'll make sure they know about your poor work ethic and we will take our business elsewhere.

If you call them to cancel your appointment, make sure you write down the name of the person you talked - or else, you will be told it will be up to management to waive off the charges !! Go figure. Will take my business to somewhere else.

I've seen Dr. White for many years. She's a great doctor and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she is simply NEVER available. I have to call several times a week just to get in contact with someone at her office. Then it's 2-3 weeks before she has any availability. I don't know why the website says that she's accepting new patients, because she clearly doesn't have time for her current patients. After making many excuses to myself, I am finally leaving her care. I simply can't wait a whole month to see my doctor, especially for stuff like minor wounds and infections. What's the point of having a doctor that you never see?

We’ve been her patients for over 20 yrs. Great doc. Takes her time and always hits the nail on the head. Does not just brush you off.

Dr. White is nice. However, the only people you will be allowed to talk to (aside from your ten minute visit with the doctor) is the incompetent staff members. I was given incorrect results followed by a call contradicting those results from the imaging office. Then once I informed the doctor's staff of this occurrence I was sent an email the next day with the "new" results that matched imaging. When I tried to get in touch with the doctor to let me know what was going on, the aid (who was very rude) let me know that the doctor would tell me the same thing that she was reading. I said that would be fine as I just wanted to talk to the doctor. I still have not heard from her. I even put in a message on their patient portal for her to discuss my results with me and its been almost two months of no answer. Will not be going back and do not not refer. Scam waiting to happen, will take your money willingly without decent customer service. Very callous staff. Update: was told the doctor would not discuss my results as she is too busy. UPDATE: So I’ve still came back and I’ve had wonderful experiences. The staff is nice and helpful and Dr. White has my trust. I believe she knows what she’s doing there is no second guessing her diagnoses or advice. I had blood work done once since my previous review and it wasn’t a hassle to get this time so the good recent experiences make up for the previous review I made a few years ago. Old review: I had an appt on 8/2 had some blood work done and was told the office was going to set up an appt on that Friday for me to have an ultrasound for my neck. No word... I called on Friday (only day off ) and asked about my blood work results and appt time that I had small children that I needed a time so I can have someone watch them. Got the ultrasound that day and was told they would send the images to my doctor and they will call me no later than Tuesday the following week. Monday I called the office just to see if they had any information on my case and they said they didn't have any info yet that the doctor was busy and she will look at them tomorrow. Tuesday came around and I called again... Told me she would call me before 5 PM because she still has not looked at them. Ok no big deal until they didn't call me. Yesterday I called AGAIN once again they promised to call me before they closed and I have STILL not gotten any call back. I understand it takes a little while to figure out what is going on but if you say you are going to call me especially since I have been bugging you can you at least do a courtesy call and let me know its taking longer than expected and apologize for the delay and I would leave you alone. At this point I can careless about the results I just need the office to have better communication and to honor promises. I work where I have to make sure I call back even if I have to call and say "hey there is still no new information". I hope to get a call soon. Dr. White has been my Primary case physician for 2.5 years. I’ve always received top notch care from her and her staff. I highly recommend her!

Dr. White is an amazing doctor. In a world of hurry up and on to the next patient, she still provides care as if you were her only patient. She not only is kind and outstanding bedside manners, she truly listens, cares and interacts with you regarding your concerns and plan of treatment. She not only is kind and outstanding bedside manners, she truly listens, cares and interacts with you regarding your concerns and plan of treatment. She is a provider that after your visit, you can feel assured she heard you, understood you and her treatment plan is perfect. I wish I found her sooner.

I've been a patient for a long time. She is efficient, compassionate and wildly competent. I've never trusted any doctor in the ways that I trust Dr White. She's the best!

I am a pt. Of Dr White and I like her. Her staff is a whole different story. Some are nice and some suck. But overall I go to see her not them. So the ones that are nice I am nice to. And so on.

I liked Dr White however after receiving an irregular blood test I asked to discuss what the next step would be the office staff said Dr White did not consult with patients.

Unethical practice – Patient Abandonment; Our entire family of five have been loyal patients of Sweetwater Medical and Dr. White for 16 years and have sent numerous referrals to her over the years. Indeed, our doctor/ patient relationship began in 2002. Our oldest daughter, Michelle, now age 29, was just 13 years old and a very young girl when we moved to Sugar Land and she became Dr. White’s patient. Today, however, my daughter Michelle, feeling very unwell and with symptoms of Virial Meningitis (stiff neck, fever, and body rash to name a few) awoke at 5:00 am knowing she needed to be seen by Dr. White for a diagnosis. Michelle was at the office this morning, IN PERSON, when it opened at 8:00 am anticipating an appointment. But while the patient waiting room was ENTIRELY EMPTY, Michelle was told by the front desk person, Chris, that Dr. White’s schedule was full for the day, and in fact, that Dr. White was TRIPLE BOOKED FOR THE DAY and there was no room for her in the schedule. My daughter was told she could not be seen by Dr White (as Dr White was triple booked!) and though my daughter arrived at 8:00 am, and before any other patients had arrived, and while the patient waiting room was ENTIRELY EMPTY, Michelle was still told to go to the ER (or find another family practice doctor who could see her!) She was not even given a chance for an appointment; Just told unequivocally, No. Is this ethical?? Is this what you tell your patient of 16 years???? Yes, this is how Dr. White’s staff treats their patients (and supposedly they were relaying Dr. White’s message to my daughter.) What is this??? Is Dr. White without any concern for her patients? Michelle who showed up with symptoms of meningitis and was physically there for an appointment, ANY appointment but was blindly told to go to the ER (this without even seeing the patient?) Or better yet, Michelle was also instructed to “Go find another doctor.” Seriously??? My questions are these: How can an existing patient of 16 years be treated this way??? After 16 years can we not expect any doctor/patient privilege (such as being seen for an appointment the day of an illness?) Indeed, should we be expected to go to the Emergency Room without even a diagnosis??? Apparently, Dr. White’s medical assistant Kim feels that we should. And we should also be ready to find another doctor on the fly (because Dr. White is triple booked and has no room for her existing patients.) This was the treatment given my daughter today when Dr White has been her doctor for 16 years. Wow. Because Dr White’s schedule is triple booked today, and because she won’t be in the office for the next four days, and because there were “no appointments available,” is it ethical to cast a sick patient, a loyal patient of 16 years, out to the nearest medi-clinic, or anywhere she happens to find an opening? Dr White controls my daughters medical records so shouldn’t she at least be in control of her health?? Again, my daughter Michelle, who showed all the signs of extreme environmental meningitis and came into the office in person this morning at 8:00 am seeking an appointment with Dr. White, was told she could NOT be seen by her doctor of 16 years. She could not be seen today, Wednesday; nor tomorrow, Thursday; nor the last day of the week, Friday. Instead, my daughter was told she needed to go to the ER (a diagnosis determined by Dr White’s medical assistant. Kim, and delivered through the front reception person, Chris, without ever being seen by Dr. White.) And while mydaughter expressed that she did not feel comfortable going to the ER and asked if she could wait for a cancellation instead, Chris, at front desk, along with Kim, medical assistant, said no; Michelle could wait all day but still not be seen. The waiting room was empty; Michelle is an existing patient; and still she was refused though she felt very ill and so sought the help of her doctor. Have been a patient of Dina White's for several years. She is a good doctor, but her office help is awful. I have stayed because she is a good doctor. Recently I have called 4 times over a weeks span to get test results and are consistently told that the doctor needs to review and will call you by at the end of the day. A week later and no call back. This is not acceptable for a medical professional. If you are concerned about your health and expect information, do not risk going to this facility. She's awesome, explain everything, make you feel you re on great hands and you are on great hands.

I cannot say enough about Dr. White she was soo good with my son and so attentive! We didn’t feel rushed, she answered all of my questions and gave us great advice! We are so thankful!

I have had a great experience with Dr. White. I love that she listens and she keeps really good notes so that she knows how to evaluate. I really feel comfortable with her and feel that she does an excellent job.

Dr. White has been my doctor for several years and helps treat my Hypothyroidism. She is always kind, attentive and I’ve always received excellent care from her. I appreciate that she tries to find the root cause of what is going on and doesn’t just automatically throw medications at an issue. I also love that she does Natural/Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. I’ve recommended her to many friends. Dr. White has been my doctor for several years and helps treat my Hypothyroidism. I have been going to Dr. White for almost 20 years (which also includes my mother, father, sister and her husband). Words cannot express what a wonderful doctor she has been to myself and family. Yes, staff changes there, but not bc of Dr. White!!! I have worked in the medical field for 15 years in a ‘clerical setting’ and please always remember that there is an ‘office supervisor’ who is over all the Doctors’ staff!!!

Dr. White is very kind and spends a lot of time with me when necessary. She not only treats the disease, but makes sure I have the medicines I need to cope with the discomfort in the meantime. I am very satisfied with her and her staff.

My whole family are patients of Dr Whites for about 4 years now. However for 1-2 years now we have noticed the office NEVER EVER picks up the phone. What's the use of a doctor if when you need an appt you can't even get one? My dad had lab results that were available apparently in October and yet we only get a call about it just 2 weeks ago....Definitely the last time my entire family goes there.

Been a 15 plus year patient. A few months ago I Had my yearly hormones checked. This month called for refills as did my pharmacy and no return calls for over a week and counting. My husband sees her as his primary care doctor. He ran out of his cholesterol medication and the same treatment...no return call for refills. Now we have to find new doctors last minute.

I have been a patient of Dr. White for over ten years. She is the best doctor I have ever had!!! She is kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful manner with her patients. Dr. White has always been there when needed. She has aalways been able to work me in when I have an emergency. I respect her opinion very much as she will refer you to a specialist if she feels things are beyond her expertise. She has even called me at home to make sure that I am doing well and that I did not need her care or to go to the ER. The world needs more doctors like Dina White!!!!!!!
