Dr. Amato treated my kid in march 2020 for the flu when the pandemic started. My regular pediatrician retired recently and she is our new doctor within the Starling Physicians group.

I went in today for a UTI and I’d suffer with them for years. When telling her this she laughed and told me it wouldn’t be possible since I would be in a “coma” and continued telling me it wouldn’t be possible, as I was telling her I had a UTI she told me I’m not officially diagnosed with one so I wouldn’t have one?? How does that even make sense? it’s MY BODY I know what I feel! She continued to make me feel insecure and upset, I feel explained to her I’ve gone to an OBGYN and then asked me if I ever seen a Necrologist(or something like that) and I asked her what it was and just laughed, how was I supposed to know? She made me feel unwelcomed and didn’t even introduced herself and was acting rude. I’m a 17 year old girl who is experiencing changes and still learning how to take care of my body, this isn’t how anyone should feel when walking into a place which is supposed to help you. My normal doctor is Dr.Ramírez but he wasn’t here today and I was in pain and couldn’t wait another day. I went in today for a UTI and I’d suffer with them for years. Great addition to the team. My kids will miss Dr. Frost but Dr. Amatto is doing a great job getting to know our kids and health history.

Dr Amato is terrific! She takes time to answer all of tour questions and doesnt rush you. She is also very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable.
