Dr. Diego John Muilenburg

We saw him at Cancer Treatments Center of Am. He was seeing my husband for esophageal cancer. The first time he seemed in a hurry, he said he couldn't operate until he did chemo and radiation to reduce the tumor. When he was done with those treatments he told us sorry it didn't shrink as a matter of fact it has spread so I can't do surgery and even if I could, it'd have to wait a few weeks because my wife needs to go to the Bahamas, she hates this Phoenix heat and giggled. We didn't think it was funny at all. Terrible bedside manner and no empathy at all. I guess everyone is just a number.

I definitely would recommend Dr Muilenburg. He is very through, and great at making you feel at ease. He did my surgery to remove a neuroendocrine tumor from the head of my pancreas, doing an Enucleation, (removal of tumor only) He ran onto some issues, so the surgery took longer. I am now 5 weeks post op, and everything is healing nicely. In fact, Every staff member had nothing but great things to say about him, so I felt very fortunate that he was my surgeon.

Dr Muilenburg is a life saver. He is the most caring and have the best bedside manner than any doctor i have ever met. I had colon cancer and he did the divinci robot surgery on me and i am cancer free. He works at cancer treatment centers in Arizona and everyone there is terrific and caring. Dr. Muilenburg is a gifted and talented miracle worker sent from God. He is so knowledgeable with a great big heart. Thank you so so much Dr Muilenburg

Excellent surgeon with great bedside manner. I was really impressed by his care and treatment for me and my recent difficult appendectomy.
