Dr. Diane Elizabeth Shigley

Called to try to get an exam. The Dr. referred me to The Joint for "discount care". Obviously this Dr. Is not in this profession to help.

Dr.Shigley is absolutely wonderful! I visited her after getting recommendation from 3 different people. As soon as I met her I could feel how gentle and caring she was. I am amazed by the way she identifies structural and muscular imbalance and works so efficiently to bring about corrections in a fluid way. She has healing hands and you can feel it. The massage therapists that work with Dr.Shigley are excellent. I’ve worked with both Javier as well as Frances and both are skilled in giving massage that compliment the treatment. There are other healing modalities offered here (dry needling, acupuncture, etc.) but Dr.Shigley only gives you what you really need. If you're interested in trying other things you can certainly ask. The office is clean, airy and bright. I walk in feeling welcomed by the flowers and warm greeting; and leave feeling better aligned! I should also mention that Dr.Shigley’s prices are quite reasonable for the expertise she offers. If you are looking for a chiropractor I encourage you to visit her. This office is extremely rude and unprofessional! I called this afternoon to make an appointment and was treated so badly by Dr. Shigley herself that I politely said never mind and ended the call.

I've been seeing Dr Shigley since I was a teenager She is amazing I'd never go anywhere else

After standing up and suddenly being unable to move, I returned to Dr. Shigley who had fixed me four years ago for a different issue. Amazed at how much better I feel after one hour! Very sympathetic, she listened as she evaluated my condition and carefully moved me to diagnose my issue. Excellent pointed deep massage, heat, slight careful adjustment, electro-stimulation and stretches, I can stand up straight again for the first time in 24 hours. Last time I went, my hip had tweaked and I was also unable to move well. Same professional treatment and results then. And not expensive at all. Shocked at how reasonable services are priced. I have always been skeptical of chiropractic care, and am so glad I took the advice of a referral four years ago! Dr. Shigley really made me comfortable she knows the body and how to treat effectively and with care. And... scheduling and admin were easy, prompt, professional, and courteous. ...I am stubborn and reluctant to seek treatment, and even after I have made my condition worse, Dr. Shigley and her team work wonders. True healers.

I've been going to Dr Shigley for 5 or 6 years now. I've visited other Chiropractors in the area when I moved away from her office, but always end up coming back. Her methods and practice are effective and recommended.

Dr Shigley went above and beyond to help relieve my back pain. She is professional, very knowledgeable and thorough. I won't go anywhere else.

I was treated so badly by this office today, that I am still upset.I called the office today with one question. Have my records been sent to an insurance company as requested? A yes or no would have been nice. The receptionist said she didn't know where my chart was, she didn't know the answer, she had only been there 2 weeks and couldn't help me. I asked to speak to someone else,she said there was no one else. She said she would have to take a message for the doctor to call me and hung up on me. She was rude, incompetent, and condescending to me. I am a RN. I have worked in doctors' offices , and I would never treat a patient like I was treated. I drove to the office, waited to speak to the doctor. Instead of an apology, I was told by Dr.Shigley that the receptionist was new, part time and I should not blame her. Really? I will never go back and I may have to hire an attorney to get my records.Extremely unprofessional office. Stay far away! I recommend Dr. Shigley frequently for back pain, joint discomfort and athletic-related injuries. I practice Jiu-Jitsu, and many in my school receive her care and all have glowing feedback. In particular, Dr. Shigley takes great care to explain body mechanics, often utilizing visual displays from medical books to provide understanding of cause and effect. More than just neck crack and see you next time, she incorporates physical therapy and dietary education for a comprehensive approach.
