Diane Hermanie Mainwold

From scheduling to check out my experience at Foster Women’s Care, especially with Dr. Mainwold, has been excellent and exceeded my expectations. Danielle and Annie were very helpful and communicative in regards to getting my medical records transferred, dealing with my new insurance, and getting me scheduled within days for my ultrasound and pre op appointment. Dr. Mainwold spent a tremendous amount of time explaining my issues, options, and future procedure. I haven’t had a provider spend that much time with me, maybe ever. I appreciate the genuine care I received and I am confident I am with the absolute best physician and practice for my medical needs.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I have always had a positive experience when coming to see Dr. Mainwold. She has always listened to me and never made me feel rushed or anything like that. Absolutely the WORST "doctor" you could ever go to. She could care less about patients that aren't pregnant. Highly unprofessional and she just wants our money. She wastes the time of women who are there for a check up by making you get an appointment and then when you show up she takes 1-2 hours sometimes even more to even see you for less than 10 minutes. I would not recommend this practice. The wait times can be over an hour, sometimes almost two hours to see a dr. I recently was in need of a specific prescription which could not be filled by my pharmacy, and had to change to a new prescription. After much back and forth over a two week period with the staff and nurse, I finally decided it would do some good perhaps if I emailed my experience in a documented format. I right away received a call from Dr. Mainwold telling me she didn't appreciate my email, telling me she did not believe my experience (in so many words calling me a liar), and telling me I could go elsewhere (meanwhile I was in the middle of trying to get care). She was so nasty and egotistical, that she hung up on me before I said a single word. Mind you it took more than one year of complaining of symptoms, numerous backing of these symptoms through blood work, referrals to other specialists, and many appointments and follow up appointments to get anywhere (all which I paid in full and on time for). I have gladly asked to have my records sent to me so I can find new care, but now cannot seem to get my records sent to me. This is the same office that told my sister she would never be able to get pregnant and if she did she would miscarry. My sister has had two children naturally since seeking other care. Respectful communication is required in all health care interactions. I will no longer settle for anything else. I would not recommend this practice. At this practice you're a number. You will wait for 1-2 hours to be seen for a short time. The ego of the dr's and nurses knowledge will be more important than your care. I would caution anyone from wasting time with this practice. Dr. Mainwold defends the behavior of staff and sets the tone for this office. Most of her staff follows a lead of total lack of empathy, patients who take up more than 20 min of their time will not feel welcomed at this practice.

You're a number, everything they do from the time the office takes to return calls, to having patients wait 1-2 hours, to acting annoyed if you ask questions, mirror their dr patient approach. I found myself going to numerous appointments, taking tons of tests and blood work, then struggling to get a prescription once I did my part. I jumped through all the hoops and still could not get care. I wrote a detailed letter to the dr addressing my experience with her staff. The dr called me after two weeks of back and forth and told me in so many words that she didn't appreciate my email documenting my experience and that she had years of qualification and that she didn't believe the things I had documented of my experience. She then hung up on me after telling me I could go elsewhere. I still don't have my prescription. Its not really about being highly educated is it? Its about being humble and kind, and helping others, and trying to see all sides to offer a solution. That to me is what I want in a dr. Education is important, but the way you treat patients is everything.

I have been going to Dr. Mainwold for many years. She always takes the time to listen and I have never felt rushed. Her nurse Danielle is also very helpful and always friendly. I highly recommend them

Dr. Mainwold it's so professional and very human. She take the necessary time to explain the procedure and every doubt you have, she won't let you go until all doubts are answer. This is the kind of Doctor I like, not the ones that are in a hurry.
