Office does not call you back if you are not available...says they are too busy to do so. Initial virtual appointments are only on Monday & Thursday and only at 1 PM. No exception if either the day or the time will not work for the prospective patient. Definitely not patient-centered service. Am told she is a wonderful doctor, but a doctor's support staff and services offered are as important as the quality of doctor. Am choosing a different doctor.

They treat people with chronic conditions and say they are taking new patients, but they are 5 months booked out for an appointment. how is that taking new patients?!?!?

I find it difficult when I speak with a specialist with specific lab details from the ER that they cannot give me any sort of advice relating to my symptoms. Especially, when I'm told to follow-up with the doctor over the weekend. Instead, Dr. Karl tells me to go back to the ER because she can't see the lab report and gave me zero advice. It's 2017, this is the first time I've ever spoken to a doctor on-call who can't access my lab report and thinks an ER doctor would know how to provide treatment for the endocrine system better than she can when it is her specialty. A specialty is so very specific and instead I'm being sent to an ER doctor who will have to attain treatment information from an endocrinokogist. With my poor immune system she'd rather her patient wait in the ER during one of the worst flu seasons on record for hours to get treatment. Healthcare in America is expensive and patients get disregarded. I find it thoroughly exhausting dealing with careless doctors as it is to fight cancer and recover from it. Doctors who are numb to their patient's plea for help, should quit if they no longer feel like properly doing their job. She was abrupt, brusk, and put in zero effort to help me. I gladly pay 100% of thousands and thousands in bills for good healthcare, but only 75 percent of the time do I get proper healthcare from my providers. And this is one of those times. Dr. Karl has been treating me thru pre-diabetes for many years. I respect her knowledge, explanations, and caring attitude. We have been able to keep my diabetes in check for all these years.

Dr. Karl has been my Endocrinologist for many years. She's a great Dr., open to her patient's wishes. When I wanted to approach my Thyroid issue as natural as possible (many years ago), she was a bit skeptical, but supported me in my decision and continued to care for me from the more medical route. I think she was pleasantly surprised by my remission, and has been a great partner in my care. She's an experienced, knowledgeable Dr. who I trust. Dr. Karl has been my Endocrinologist for many years. She's a great Dr., open to her patient's wishes. I saw her for 2 years and she was very judgmental language. When my pump was old and would soon start falling apart she started giving me excuses for why I shouldn't get a new one. Each time I saw her was a new excuse. I drew the line when I asked her if what she was saying was based on research and she said "in my experience" instead. I respectfully confronted her and she ended the appointment immediately and won't sign my prescriptions saying that she's not my doctor anymore (I never said that
