Dr. Diana L. Schott

Dr. Schott was my primary doctor in Novato, CA for over 25 years. I originally chose her based on her local reputation, and she took my insurance, and she usually ran on time (I hate sitting in waiting rooms). I always found her to be very professional, detailed, organized, and efficient. Her level of care is well above the average doctor, and due to my health issues, I have seen many doctors over the years. She came to know me and my family well, ultimately taking on my husband, and children as patients too. Dr. Schott left Novato to move to Washington and it was a HUGE loss for all her patients here. No one compares to Dr. Schott for her caring, consistency, and excellence in family medicine. I don't usually do reviews, but we miss her so much, and want all of you there in Washington to know how lucky you are to have her as your doctor!

I and my wife saw Dr. Schott for almost two decades. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very good manner. She would follow up on stuff too. When my wife came down with a certain disease and skipped her very important appointments, Dr. Schott kept after her and she took the treatment she really needed to have. Dr. Schott would take and follow up on phone calls, something certain other local doctors didn't do. I have had med problems for over 60 years, she is the best Dr. I have ever had.

I had a very bad experience. Dr. Schott did not rerun to the room respectfully to allow me to discuss other health issues for the day. She found out I needed a pain management consult and then abandoned me . She had not reviewed my health records. She was stiff and impersonal. I resent that she abandoned me in the patient room. It was disrespectful and discourteous. I felt judged. I left and immediately called to cancel Peninsula Healh Plan Of Wa to go with another provider and insurance carrier
