Dewey James Bailey III

My Mother has been a patient of Dr. Bailey for some time and just recently her care has been neglected. He ordered special blood work the beginning of February and she still has not heard from a nurse or the provider himself. Multiple phone calls have been made to the nurse along with the office manager and we keep being told we would receive a call. Here we are, almost two months later and nothing. An appointment was scheduled for May (supposed to be two months) and we received a letter in the mail requesting to reschedule the appointment. I work in healthcare and understand fully things happen, but this is an example of poor patient care and patient neglect. I am very disappointed in this office and we will be seeking a second opinion.

I've been seeing Dr. Bailey for years. I find him personable and professional. The only downside is the wait. (and the travel time for me to get there!) He is very busy. His staff are awesome and will tell you up-front if they're running behind. Also he was the only doctor to actually run a test and not just assume I was type 2. I wasn't. Thank you Dr. Bailey!

I have only been to see Dr. Bailey one time, he seems to lisen. The wait time to get your results is around 2 months, I was told I needed an ultrasound.I ask to take the ultrasound orders to my hospital to get done faster and was told no. It's a two month wait for that test as well. The nurse that did my blood work was not good at her job! I have had bloodwork done many times and I have to say this was by far the worst pain I have exsperianced when having blood drawn. I can work around the bad skedualing and will ask to have a diffrent nurse do the blood work. I will post an update after my next visit.

Great Doctor and great office staff.

He is one of the most likeable guys on the planet. Enjoyed seeing his smiling face when visiting me in ICU. I see his PA during office visits and she is great too. Busy busy office.

Dr.Bailey is a great Dr . !

I have seen Dr Bailey for 20+ years. He is vary caring, he is never in a hurry to exit the door and he listens to your concerns. His bedside manors are on point and he comes to see me in the Hospital when I am in need there. I would suggest him over anyone.

Dr. Bailey has been my doctor for years. He has a a vast knowledgeable base for treating and maintaining health. From the time you enter his facilty you know that this is a rare gem. From any staff member to other patient it is pleasantly comfortable, quick and efficient..I cannot praise this facility enough.spot on all the time.

Dr Bailey is very professional but down to earth! I've been seeing him for 2 years & find him to be the same each time. He doesn't waste my time or his with lots of follow up visits unless a neg lab or concerns occur. I saw him in Dec with a LIST of symptoms! He listened, made notes & ordered labs & scans. In the over 20+ years I have been seeing Dr. Bailey I have always felt at ease with his care. Always great conversation and exam. He has worked with me even though I may not be the most compliant patient, but that is my issue not his. He always listens to my issues and I have never had a problem with him or his staff. Awesome Doctor!!

Dr has been excellent for me. With his help my A1C has dropped from 8.8 to 7. Did have a major problem with a Statin but office reacted quickly to it

Dr. Bailey is the best. I have many multiple health problems and I've seen dozens and dozens of doctors over the years so I believe I have a perspective on what a good doctor is and what a bad doctor is. I am not going to my Neurologist and ask about diabetes so why would you go to a Endocrinologist and ask about neuropathy? If you have pain then a neurologist or pain management specialist would be a good place to start after visiting your Primary Care Physician. The terrific Physicians are intelligent enough to stick with their speciality. If you ever see a specialist and they are agreeable with treating illnesses that are outside their field then if you are smart you will run the other way... that is what your Primary Care Physician is for. He is very kind and considerate. He also has the ability to put the medical scenario together and is very proactive in diagnosing and treating the problems. I like him a lot and feel that he is the best Endocrinologist in the area. I rate him as the but he is very busy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bailey III for almost 8 years now. He is very professional and personable. The care I receive from him and his staff is top notch. Dr. Bailey explains things in a way I understand and works well with me in achieving my medical goals. I highly recommend him!

Over 2 years I've complained of nerve pain running down my right side. Dr Bailey refused to discuss instead told me to see my PC. It has since been diagnosed as Proximal diabetic neuropathy. He is friendly but not interested in anything that requires more than 3-5 mins of his time. I have never had vitals taken or any kind of foot examination. Upon getting my pump, he failed to show at the appointment leaving it up to the gal who teaches pump use. It was Friday and within 24 hours I had a BG of 39. There were no instructions who I should call or what I should do. I made the adjustments myself and closely monitored. My next appointment I insisted on seeing the Doctor rather than his PA. Dr Bailey was angry I did not follow protocol, however, no protocol was provided. He is very friendly during the 3-5 minutes you see him, but don't bother him with problems or concerns.
