Sedalia Eye Clinic DOES NOT disclose fees that may not be covered by your insurance. Contact fitting exam was $198...not the $30 normal charge from others! And they will not release your script unless you pay. At the office when I went in to get the script, they said it was $159. Statement received today says $198. They are unscrupulous!! Preying on their clients! No items on my bill that they showed insurance had paid came anywhere near what they charged for the contact exam...simply because they could gouge us out of pocket. Finally got in, had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Carl was great, in and out in a very swift manner.

I was visiting family in Sedalia, and had left my daily-wear contacts at home, 125 miles away. I called The Eye Clinic, and they were so gracious to find a pair of contacts in my prescription so I could get home. If I lived here, I would definitely choose them as my eye care clinic!

Dr. Desmon Carl has GREAT customer service and is great with children! I brought my daughter in for an eye exam and he joked and laughed with her and made her feel very comfortable. He’s professional and has a great sense of humor. I totally recommend him and his wonderful friendly staff!
