Dr. Dennis Thomas

Count me among his 5 s. Matter of fact, to the point. He made a couple of perscription changes that did me a world of good.

Dr. Thomas puts money before the patient. Twice he charged me for a Wellness Exam (which medicare offers patients free) and an office visit. A Wellness exam should take 30 minutes. His assistant as part of the wellness exam asked me to draw a clock and memorize 3 words. Dr. Thomas then appeared for about 3 minutes. When I got the bill, I owed, $183. I called his office and the manager made up a number of excuses as to why both the Wellness exam and an office visit were charged. All of the excuses were none sensible. Also Dr. Thomas refused to renew (did not have any left) my blood pressure medicine insisting I needed to change the medicine. I told him I was perfectly happy with the current medicine and was not going to change. That medicine only cost me $12 a year. He wanted to change it to a med that cost $150 for 90 days. When I asked him to just renew the medicine. He told me to find a new doctor. Thank goodness I did so but ran out of the medicine before I could.

We are done with Dennis Thomas. He prioritizes making money over proper patient care. He has a poor attitude, is uncooperative on prescriptions and rushes exams. We have received unexpected inappropriate bills. Poor communication. Avoid and beware.

Dr. Dennis Thomas lacks empathy, care, and respect for his patient. He cares only about the money. I was billed inappropriately for an "office visit" and he refused to acknowledge that the bill was incorrect ($152 for 30 seconds of his time, signed a form for work, did not complete a physical exam yet billed my insurance for a physical exam), even after speaking with the billing department and his office manager. The negative reviews are true. Please consider looking into a different family practice.

Tuesday,!0 minutes in lobby,40 MINUTES IN EXAM ROOM. Then to call prescription to not pharmacy I told him to. Todays visit was 15 minutes in lobby while others that behind me WENT before me. I will never set foot in that office again.

It wouldn't let me rate him a zero. He has no bedside manner or compassion. His attitude leaves a lot to be desired. It's as if you are a burden and taking up his time. I was not properly diagnosed for years. His diagnosis for years was growing pains. I got a second opinion and found out it was endometriosis and I needed surgery. I never made it to the appointment because my past experience with the rest of the staff was HORRIBLE. They are rude, unprofessional and just want the money. They do not care about you.

If I could give a - * He would have a -10*. He really does not care about his patients at all.I have had several people tell me he should not be a Dr. Medical personnel should have hearts.

I would never recommend this thing. Bad attitude, doesn't care and acts like you are wasting his time. Some things just shouldn't work with people if you hate them. One of the biggest jerks I have ever met. I have met a lot of doctors, this thing is hands down THE WORST. I know a preacher who had not one good thing to say about this thing. If you want a doctor who acts like a human being, don't make an appointment with this thing. He treated me so badly that it gave me anxiety to see doctors

I have been a patient of doctor Thomas for many years. And I would just like to say he is the best doctor I've ever been to. He always makes me feel I am important and that he listens and cares about my mental health as well as physical. So of course i give him 5 stars. Thank you Doctor Thomas.Lesa Johnson
