DO NOT have Dr. Dennis Roberts as your OBGYN. I would give Dr. Roberts and his staff -5 stars if given the option. He was my primary physician throughout my entire pregnancy, and though he started off welcoming, he eventually showed his true colors. Despite the inappropriate and unprofessional commentary such as “you’re the reason we’re in a pandemic” and “you missing your appointment makes me not want to do my job”, he tried to prevent me from obtaining my state disability insurance. I had my baby delivered by Dr. Michael at Eisenhower’s new birthing center, which I 100% recommend. Eisenhower’s staff told me Dr. Roberts has no privileges there but didn’t inform me why, though he was able to deliver there once upon a time. Interesting. I saw Dr. Roberts after my delivery and he and his staff repeatedly questioned why I didn’t have my baby at JFK. He asked, “all that work and I didn’t get paid?” He was cold before leaving and when I tried handing my paperwork over to his staff to certify, they refused to submit it and tried saying I was past a due date. What due date??? My dad became furious and went over to Dr. Roberts’s office to tell the staff to submit my paperwork but a confrontation erupted. Dr. Roberts called the police after we left and had us banned from the building. I struggled reaching out to Dr. Michael who isn’t authorized to submit my paperwork, as well as my insurance, and SDI representative, etc.. I finally reached out to another physician who was able to help me and submit a certification. I have since contacted the medical board. He is also know to push for C sections since he is compensated more. Don’t go with Dr. Roberts if you love yourself and your unborn baby! DO NOT have Dr. Dennis Roberts as your OBGYN. Great Doctor but horrible nurses/MA. I recently called in to schedule an appointment due to I was going through a chemical pregnancy.They refused to schedule me in because I told them Dr.Roberts tied my tubes 6 yrs ago and I was worried,I did explain I had positive labs,urine test and ultra sounds and they stated they still couldn’t schedule me in and to search for a different Dr. My jaw dropped. This doctor along with his staff were just horrible. All he does is push c-sections. (Because he gets more money for them.)

My girlfriend had the worst experience ever! The doctor knows his stuff and at times can be very nice. The nurses, though, do not know how to treat the patients. Always inpatient and they do a LAZY job at whatever they do. If you ask them a simple question, they will answer it with an attitude. If they're that tired of working there idk why they don't quit. Dr. Roberts has his nice moments but I didn't appreciate when he just flat out told my girl that she's gonna die and that our baby was gonna die. Dr. Roberts was a great doctor once upon time. He delivered my first two children, saved my life and my babies life by noticing I felt unusually warm so he had his nurse take my temperature, my temperature was very high, over 104.0 so he told me to go straight to JFK and be admitted. I was in intensive care for several days with a high temperature over 104.3 and almost got to 105.0 I went into preterm labor but they were able to stop it. I spent two weeks in the hospital but I thank god that he caught that my temperature was high. I saw this doctor for several years and had an awesome experience up until I was in my third trimester with my third child. I delivered my other two children in Rancho Mirage and I wanted my third child delivered there as well. He tried to convince me to go to JFK but I did not want to go to JFK. When I filled out the paper work in the beginning of my pregnancy the paper had a question about which hospital I wanted to go to and I selected the one in Rancho Mirage. When I was in my third trimester he was trying to get me to go to JFK but I said no. He offered for me to have my own room there and I still said no. We got into a heated argument in the back waiting room in front of many of his other patients. I ended up cussing him out and left. I had to find another doctor that would take me on in my third trimester which was very hard to do but I found an awesome doctor. DONT COME HERE! I would give a zero if I could. I don't know why this doctor thinks he can talk to and treat his patients the way he does. He was rude, condescending, and rushed during my visit. I have never experienced anything like this. I would not come to this guy. Terrible service. I attempted to make an appointment to get some pregnancy care and received no help. In fact, Disenia the office manager was very rude and when asked for recommendations on another Doctor that could help...she said she knows of other Doctors and has their contact info, but we should go google it. I made an appointment 3 days ago. When I finally went they asked me to sign in and for 5 minutes just I sat there. I asked if i could be filling up some paper work while I was waiting since I was a new patient. The receptionist said yes and she gave them to me. I also asked what was the average waiting time. She said one to two hours. There was nobody waiting in the waiting room but my daughter and I. I politely asked if the television could be change to a children's channel so my daughter could see it, she said no. She gave me a container to gather urine in. I asked if I could have some water and she told me there was a drinking water int he first floor. My daughter and I went and came back. when I asked if I could use the restroom, SHE SAID SHE HAD TOLD THE DOCTOR ABOUT ALL MY COMPLAINING AND HE DIDN'T WANT SEE ME! so for me to look for another doctor that he would not see me. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS!!! This horrible doctor. if you can avoid him, do. he treats people as cattle

Best OB-GYN took care of all my 3 pregnancies and no problems at all, he's very kind and the staff too very helpful specially nurse Lorena!!!!

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND him as your OB! He's wonderful honestly loved going to my appointments and my delivery was so easy with him. Honestly wish I could have him as my primary doctor.

Outstanding Doctor, you can tell he is truly passionate about his career.. long wait but he is so worth it, the attention he provides to you is amazing and that explains why he might keep you waiting for a while. In addition to that, he actually sees you in every appointment. Unlike other doctors he DOES NOT send a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to see you during one of the visits, Doctor Roberts sees all his patients every single time you walk in there for an appointment.

Had medical problems and was referred to Dr. Roberts by my insurance but after two very long appointments I decided to change physicians. He was clearly overbooked, had patients waiting for 2-3 hours. And, when I finally met with Dr. Roberts, he was abrupt, impolite and dismissive. I felt like I was just a quick number he had to move on through. He seemed to not want to address any of my concern, so I quickly had to find another doctor instead where I did not have to take half day off of work!

Worst OBGYN that I have ever met. Dr. Roberts has no regard for how a person feels. He believes that he is right and take a no regard of how the mother patient feels. Terrible experience. My wife and I made an appointment and came in on 12/13/2016 for our first visit to a doctor since we found out she is pregnant. We made a visit to the emergency room the week before because she was struggling with extreme nausea and unable to eat. As she filled out her paperwork she noticed odd questions, almost like a psych evaluation that I have never seen in an office. She asked the lady over the counter what was going on with the questionnaire and she let her know there were parenting classes she would have to take throughout the pregnancy and my wife told her she didn't want them and would take information booklets. We are already parents so, understandably, she refused the classes. The front desk lady disappeared and moments later let us know that they wouldn't be seeing my wife. Afterwards, when we asked why, she finally let us know that unless she took the classes they wouldn't be able to see her. Reluctantly she said she would and they still turned her away. They pissed off my pregnant wife and after she started arguing with them, the doctor came around the corner and threatened her with the authorities. This doctor called the police on a pregnant woman. I'm not sure if he gets away with treating all of the other patients (obviously minorities and possibly illegal) the same way but I don't recommend this place to anyone experienced or inexperienced with parenting and pregnancy. After I got home, my wife was crying, upset and angry so I decided to call and ask for his information and all they did was put me on hold and continued to be rude. Awful experience. Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. He was rude and always in a hurry. He wouldn't spend more than 2 minutes inside the office. His responses to my questions were always vague and he seemed annoyed whenever I asked something.

I came in to this doctor 3 years ago for my first pregnancy. The staff was horrible, once not even allowing me to use their restroom until I began crying inside the lobby because of how painful it was becoming. Although the diagnose was correctly done and I had a D&C procedure, the doctor did not have the patience to explain to my mother the situation as he thought she was yelling because she speaks loud. He rolled his eyes several times & He failed to consider my previous medical history .

Dr Roberts and his staff are the most caring, attentive, courteous team I have ever encountered. Last year I suffered a miscarriage and dr Roberts came to the hospital on his off hours to help. His staff called every few days to check up on me. When I had pain and bleeding during my cancer scare I never had to wait for an appt, I was told to come right in. Dr. Roberts expedited a very important ct scan and fought to get the tests I needed when my insurance dragged their feet. I wish he could be my primary doctor.
