The staff was nice but the the doctor is horrible. The worst experience I have ever had. I had been here before and thought my first experience was bad and thought people are allowed to have bad days. I was mistaken he is just not a nice person and disregarded my worries was short disrespectful and belittling. Please safe save yourself the grief.

I first met Dr.Reiter on 11/16/22 I had been referred to him for my droopy eyelid during exam first thing he said was since I was Asian there was not much he could do I explained they I was Mexican Hispanic he kept arguing that no I was definitely Asian I should have left then he continued to say that I had a slight infection small patch on my left eyelid he prescribed steroid cream well in 2 days both eyelids were totally red swollen and itchy I called his office but no one answered. Left repeated messages to tell them of my reaction I then called office again finally got another appointment he was mad because I was complaining that they had not called me back so without telling me he left exam room came back in and slathered my eyes with another ointment He was so rude very unprofessional , but unfortunately as bad as he treated me you should of seen how he treats the elderly no compassion no caring you are just another body that comes into his office. Finally I was able to see my dermatologist who right away took me off of his prescribed steroids and started me on other medications to deal with my swollen red itchy blotchy eyelids it is now 1/23 getting better but still dealing with my bad decision I should of never went to see him and most of all when he started insisting I was Asian and that’s why I pretty much had to deal with my droopy eyelids I should have said Hasta La Vista Baby!! I truly hope this review keeps someone else from being mistreated by this doctor.

People give reviews about the most insignificant things. I was sadly surprised the stars this awesome doctor has. In one of the most scariest moments I had in years, taking me in to get my eyelid surgery...oh my goodness, for some reason I was so scared, It turns out I didn't want to leave the operating room. He and his staff made me it such an awesome experience. You don't give this kind if doctor and staff a bad review because sometimes things happen...just like in YOUR life. There is nothing perfect, as long as humans are involved something always will BUT not with those hands when it really matters and THAT my friend, at the end of the day is what matters the most. Raise my glass for you doctor.

Dr. REITER was very professional. He took his time and explained what my problem was. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I really liked his staff too. They were all so very nice from the time I walked in to the time I walked out! This place is very nice and clean.

Horrible customer service. I should have listened to the reviews posted here. I scheduled an appointment and had several, and I mean many text messages reminding me about the appointment, even a few hours before going in. I even moved my work schedule and used some of my PTO, and when I got there, no vehicles in sight and the place was closed. I texted the number and they “forgot” to tell me the doctor left as an emergency. I understand emergencies happen, but the useless staff should have told me so I wouldn’t waste my time and gas. Sister made an appointment for my father three months ago for an appointment in March. Called to confirm appointment and they could not find an appointment for him. Wanted to reschedule for another appointment over a month, did not issue any apologies and were very passive aggressive about the situation and offered to "call" if another spot would be open. They did absolutely nothing to try and get him in on or around his original appointment date. Decided it was best to take him to another doctor which scheduled us much sooner and confirmed his appointment. Please look anywhere else before you book with them if you can avoid it. Cannot believe the wait time....my mother is 90 years old we waited for 2 1/2 hrs.... And you can tell the doctor was frustrated and tired I would never recommend anybody going to this facility

This Doctor was highly referred to us. He told us that a lens would help my 90 yr old mother see better, we payed $1,600 dlls. It didn't work????, now she can't see anything at all. Before the lens she could see a little bit. And now he wants to do another surgery for her other eye that has cataracts. I'm going to get a second opinion, the other issue is that every visit with this doctor it takes 3 to 4 hours. They should take into consideration that the elderly shouldn't be subjected to sit and wait that many hours. It's ridiculous to wait that long at any doctor's visit. It takes 2 or 4 phone calls before they answer the phone, It's frustrating. I believe the Staff isn't efficient and they need significant training for the benefit of the patients and the business. Was seeing other Dr. For six months and could not fix my problem. I saw Dr Reiter one time and was able to fix my problem . Thank you Dr. Reiter you are awesome!!!!!

On a recommendation of Dr. Favila I went to Dr. Reiter for cataract surgery. I was examined and scheduled for surgery on April 15th . Dr Reiter was very informative and had excellent bed side manners and so did the staff at El Paso Surgical Center. I then was scheduled for my second eye two weeks later . I can not say enough good things about Dr. Reiter his staff and Dr. Favila. Praises to Dr. Reiter and his professional yet friendly staff. I cannot thank you enough for the work performed and caring you have exhibited. Never in my life have I had 20/20 visión but when the eye patch came off 1 week after surgery I was astonished. With the special plastic lenes he installed with surgery, my natural but failing lenses were removed and it just was unbelievable to see with such clarity and definition I never had before. My Mother called to try to get my brother an appointment. She was unaware this place was vision. At first her call dropped, something that happens with Mobile Phones sometimes. When my Mom called back your secretary Melissa accused my Mom of hanging up on her and was being very rude. I don't know what kind of expectations or standards you have for your staff but I don't appreciate your secretary being so rude to my Native American Senior Citizen Mother. Hire friendlier staff.

I've been a patient with Dr. Dennis Reiter for sixteen years. He has always been friendly and thorough in his explanation of any conditions that may affect my vision. He performed a cataract procedure in 2018 which was completed with an effective result. During the procedure, he spoke with me and explained what he was doing and what he saw. Dr. Reiter kept me at ease throughout the procedure and thereafter. I truly recommend his services.

Dr Reiter took care of my husband also Dr Favela. He was very happy with them, the way they take time to explain your condition. How their going to take care of it step by step he didn't have any pain they had to cut into his eye lid and no pain ! Great Dr's! I had a friend that went for a regular check up and to update his glasses. He left in severe pain and required an emergency visit. A corneal abrasion! Should never happen! Would not recommend.

Dr attitude is very unprofecional and rude, He kept attaking me for no reason I will never go back.

Never go for Cosmetic in this place WRONG procedure and you don’t have real results

Bad service!! My moms appointment was at 2:30 and she was seen until 4:40 by another Dr. The staff very unprofessional : talking on cell phones, joking around and talking about their personal life. This is the last time I will bring her here!!

the front desk is horrible! they were constantly talking bad about patients after each phone call. I was waiting in waiting area with my daughter and could hear them gossip about how they were not going to schedule or a bounced check and enjoying being rude on phone. This doctor and office are awesome! This was my first visit (new patient)-paperwork was ready and as soon as I completed it, I was called in! Examinations went well and everything was explained to me as they went along! Dr. Reiter was very thorough and patient! The office staff was efficient and professional! I recommend this office to anyone that needs an Ophthalmologist!

He is a horrible Doctor/person!! I was his patient back in 2004. After my eye exam he told me straight out, you're ready for a seeing eye dog! You re going blind, you're going to be blind! I was devastated, crying day n night. I lived alone, who was going to tend to me. I lived agonizing months getting ready to start losing my eye sight. In short, it's 2018 n still have me sight! Happy with my recent visit to get a second opinion after being diagnosed with a thyroid disorder. The staff was very helpful in getting me accommodated even with my busy work schedule and the doctor and nurses were very pleasant and patient with my questions. My husband and I switched to Dr Reiter about three years ago and have been very pleased with the quality of care we receive by him as well as his staff. He is always thorough during his exams unlike our previous doctor and we appreciate his direct approach especially when it comes to my husband getting his diabetes under control. I am looking forward to having him remove my cataracts this year. He was amazing. The staff was even better.

The front office is the worst. They are rude and fail to answer all questions. They are always in a hurry to get off of the phone that they hang up on you before you are finished. And when i am in the office, i am always waiting for 3 hours to be seen for 2 minutes and then they are in a rush to get me out.

The waiting room is full of displays of overpriced anti-aging creams They asked my mother ridiculous questions about whether she owned her own house, how many sons she had, etc. None of this has anything to do with the spot on her eyelid. The first time Mom was referred here, she waited FOUR HOURS to see the doctor. They performed tests that had just been done by her regular eye doctor, and had no bearing on her current problem. Dr.REITER is an amazing,professional,easygoing and knows his profession well.I met him by chance and I am amazed at what he has done for me.I have minor muscular dystrophy and and he is the only doctor that works with my type of muscle problem.I highly recommend him for any eye issues you might be having.

My husband and I switched to Dr Reiter about two years ago and have been very pleased with the quality of care. The way he was very thorough during the exam was quite surprising compared to our previous doctor and I am looking forward to him performing cataract surgery later this year.

I just received a call from my mother who saw you yesterday. She was crying as she told me about the treatment she received from you and your staff. You were rude and your voice was raised. You chastised her for not coming in over the past 2 yrs. In May 2014, she broke her hip. In PT her hip broke again. June 2014 she underwent another surgery. Her pain was immeasurable; her recovery slow. Mom is 89 years old and one of the nicest persons you could ever meet. No one deserves this.
