He is very personable, great bedside manner, explains conditions in detail and follows through. His office is very organized and helpful. Everyone in his practice has been a Godsend.

Dr Rassias is highly skilled and excellent surgeon. I had esophageal surgery with Dr Rassias. He is amazing. Dr. Rassias and his staff were fantastic! My mother needed surgery during the pandemic so I could not be with her for appointments, the surgery or her week long stay in the hospital. He would call me from the room when mom was in with him so I could be part of the conversation. I called him at least a half a dozen times with questions and he always called me back in a timely manner! He never made me feel as though I was bothering him and would explain everything to me thoroughly. I highly recommend him to anyone! Dr. Rassias and his staff were fantastic! Just Amazing ! The only way to describe Dr. Rassias and his team ! This group is God Gifted! Professional, honesty, and talent. I had other work done at Albany Medical with my lung and there is no comparison. If you ever need help with your lungs, pneumonia ect, this is the place to go to. St. Peter’s Hospital. It’s not just my rating, look at all the other 5 stars listed also. Thank you once again Gentlemen for all your help. The only complaint that I have is that some of the night staff comes in at 5 am and turns all the lights on when I was in s deep sleep, at the end, I had enough! Just Amazing ! Dr Rassias did lung surgery removing one lobe and 2 months later did esophageal surgery to allow me to swallow properly. He is absolutely the most skilled and the most caring doctor you could hope to find. Both surgeries were a total success and I recommend this wonderful surgeon 100%. He is absolutely the best.

Dr. Rassias took great care of my mother. His bedside manner is spectacular and it was clear that he took a keen interest in her care (and did so with his other patients as well). His depth of experience and focused care and attention brought peace of mind to her and my family during a very difficult time. He really is down to earth . He took time to help me and family understand what i was and am up against. He explained things step by step no sugar coating.. I really am appreciative of his time and for helping me to fight this cancer.

I wish I wasn’t misled by these compliments. He and his stuff performed the major surgery without notifying patient’s family. Patient died due to this surgery.

Dr. Rassias performed my surgery and although it was the toughest thing I have ever done his precision and attention to detail are fantastic. It’s s devastating surgery but Dr. Rassias performance was flawless. His timeline for recovery was spot on and due to unforeseen issues with the dietary department which did not follow his instructions kept me in there a few more days. Once that was resolved I was discharged and sent home. His instructions are precise and if you follow them your recovery will be expedited. My cancer was removed by him and his staff so no it’s just recovery from the procedure. Dr. Rassias saved my life and has given me more years to enjoy with my family. No words can than him enough. All I know is that God is in that operating room guiding his hands and that is what prayers do. Thanks again Doc. You are one of a kind and I will recommend you to everyone who needs your expertise. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.

No better Doctor in the world! He saved my life from an extremely complex form of pneumonia . The best team ever with him. He has amazing bed side manner , and actually cares for his patients without compromise. If you need surgery and are fortunate enough to get Dr.Rassias then God is definitely on your side.

You will not find a more skilled or caring surgeon anywhere!! I traveled three hours one way for each visit and surgery!

Dr. Rassias was fantastic. He made sure I was comfortable before and after my surgery. He would come see me every day to follow up. He is an amazing doctor.

Total confidence in Dr Rassias. He guided me through a very difficult surgery and recovery process. He and his staff were always attentive to my needs. Dr Rassias is a highly skilled surgeon.

My experience with Dr. Dennis Rassias deserved a 6 plus star if it had been provided. From my first visit to my last visit, Dr. Rassias and his office staff were beyond professional.The close interaction of Dr. Rassias and the complete staff on the sixth floor post op ThorasicGastroentestinal step down floor at Saint Peter's Hospital was phenomenal. Each staff member complimented the other. I can't thank you enough.
