Dennis Scott Meredith

I saw Dr. Meredith 2015. I was homeless & on medicaid. I had had problems since 2002 and ended my career as a Master Carpenter but pride made me continue to work anyway I could. Anyway ......... He told me I needed to replace 4 discs & fuse 5 vertebre in my neck. It was not going to "fix" anything or even "stop" anything but it will "slow it down." The surgery was 'denied' by the medicaid people............. Flash Forward--Today: The disease grew and spread to the lumbar region with nerve damage & pain in all four extremities. Now I am told (by second doctor-1st never mentioned it) I have Cervical Myelopathy "that is pretty ugly." Over the past 20 years I have seen many doctors. I have had 'Top Shelf' BC/BS health ins., Medicaid and been uninsured. Doctors are no different than any other human. Some care and try, others are just ....... (dirty words). Incorporation has weakened the Medical field and Dr. Meredith is of a dying breed. (just one man's opinion)

One and a half years ago he did my back surgery. It helped me so much. if I have any problem I see him and he always helps me. I trust him very much.

Dr. Meredith helped me when no one could, I was told by another Dr. no one would touch me. Dr. Meredith was up for the challenge and I can't tell you how amazing he is..I thank God everyday for him.

Just outstanding care from Dr Meredith! The man knows his businesses well and if you're in the need of joint replacement surgery I urge you to consider Dr Meredith! Highest recommendations!!

Amazing! Very efficient and caring staff. Dr. Meredith was very calm and knowledgeable. He clearly explained where I am in my journey of caring for my cervical issues. Recommended waiting for surgery to become necessary. To continue with current treatment plan of managing the pain and maximizing my life enjoyment.

By the time I met Dr Meredith it was for my 4th surgery and it seems to be my last - he’s a very considerate doctor, he talks to you without making you feel he has to rush out to the next patient because he stacks his patients on top of each other, he also looks at the whole picture to find ways to help - my favorite person here tho is his MA Jamie she treats you like a person and is very friendly - overall I’ve had very good experiences with this whole office and I’m glad he was referred to me. Dr. Meredith did a full left knee replacement, He did a excellent job, Kept me in the loop on everything that was being done, Very professional, I felt extremely comfortable with him and his PA's that helped. I had a questions that only he could answer and was able to get him on New Years Day. I would recommend him to anyone who was looking for a knee replacement.

Dr. Meredith replaced my entire left knee. Im the type of sissy that doesn't like pain and other than the pain issue lasting a bit longer than I anticipated during the several months following the operation, it was done as professional and with the utmost care. He is a fine surgeon and extremely easy to talk to. He pulls no punches and tells it like it is and is going to be. I have talked to several people he has operated on and they are in total agreement with me. Excellent MD

Dr. Meredith gave me my life back! After being rejected by several other surgeons, a friend had referred me to Dr. M that had a successful surgery with him. I had almost given up all hope at that time but I decided to give him a call. I will never forget my first visit with him, he took a hold of my hand and promised me that he would never give up on me. Unable to walk for over a year. Surgery was 3 days ago and not only am I walking, I feel amazing, He gave me my life back, Shelly Raquel??

A great surgeon, Dr. Meredith was great at explaining my situation, my options, and outcome. I have recommended numerous times. Can’t say enough good things.

I was referred to Dr. Meredith for a surgery consult due to cervical myelopathy (spinal cord compression). His bedside manner is the best I have ever experienced from ANY doctor. He actually listens and seems to genuinely care. I had my surgery within a month of seeing him, and my pain in my neck and upper back has decreased significantly! I really cannot thank him enough!!! If he says he cannot help you then you need to trust him, and not badmouth him for being honest.

Neurology referred me over to Dr Meredith for my muscular twitching; limb numbness and tingling; loss of sensation after MRI revealed bulging discs; tumor at t12; multi level spondylosis. After a 1 month wait to see him I came in waited 1 1/2 hours. He looks at me tells me nothing structurally wrong with me. Everyone my age has bulged discs. Told me he cannot help me to go back to neurology which is a complex field of diagnosis. He did not like all my questions. Tried to get up and leave however

Dr. Meredith performed a lumbar fusion on my lower back. He and all his staff were wonderful at explaining the procedures and risks to me and they were very good at putting my mind at ease. Dr. Meredith even advised me what type of surgery not to have to correct my problem and told me whether or not I choose him as my surgeon, to not let any surgeon talk me into letting them go in through my back but rather to do a more minimal invasive surgery through the front. My whole experience from consultation to surgery to recovery to follow up was seamless and worry free. The doctors, nurses, technicians, physical therapists, everybody seemed to really care about my needs and questions before and after the surgery. A nice touch was that after my only consultation with Dr. Meredith, I didn't see him for a few months but he recognized me in passing in the clinic hallway and said hello and even remembered me by name. It was indicative to me that everyone involved in my surgery saw me as an individual with medical needs rather than just another assembly line patient. Regarding the surgery results, it is now one week later, my legs and back are pain-free. I have a touch of soreness in my back near the end of the day, as expected. I am almost completely off any pain medications and am moving around the house and yard freely, but of course, carefully. Wonderful surgeon, great staff, clinic, and hospital. Doesn't even deserve one star. Had to click on one to write this review. Haven't had a chance to meet the Dr.Meredith, Thanks to incredibly unskilled, pathetic staff members (paper pushers) in the Dr's office. The staff members lied, lethargically sat on the referral, denied the referral without adequate reason & made no attempt to help the patient. Such people don't deserve to be in medical profession for they deny patients needed care and medical system is blamed due to such pathetic people.

Dr Meredith is a friendly and knowledgeable doctor.

I had been in severe pain {9-10} on the pain scale, for years with no relief from opiod pain meds. Dr Meredith recommended fusing my left side with 3 semi porous titanium triangular pins. Within 6 hours after surgery I was experiencing less pain than before surgery. Within a week I went from a 9-10 to a 2-3. It was such a dramatic change, it felt like all the pain was removed. On top of his skill level, Dr Meredith is approachable where as a patient he listens to your concerns & talks to you.
