I first met Dr Melton from a referral by my primary care physician back in 2000 or 2001. I was seeing him for quarterly visits per my former primary care physician's advice. Since the receipt of the news that he was at Absolute Care I made an appointment to see him. I wouldn't trade him as my doctor for anything !! He'll be very honest with you from the get-go. When I moved up to Canton from Smyrna I was looking for a new PCP. After checking out some of the possibilities for my new PCP I was getting nowhere and totally frustrated. I expressed my frustrations to Dr Melton and at that time he asked me if I wanted him to be my new primary care doctor. I was somewhat in state of surprise by that question to say the least. I wasn't aware he could be !! Well I jumped on my answer of yes. I honestly believe if it wasn't for him I would Not be here today !! He may be curt and direct but I appreciate that because that's me as well !! I was shocked and surprised to hear that he's retiring this year, I don't know what I'm gonna do as far as a new PCP !! He is great ! Very thorough !! Great personality! I have been with this practice 25 years! They treated 2 partners until they passed! I began with Dr Rosenstock. Small practice back then! His nurse, Mary, is the best ever! Back then Dr Rosenstock took some patients out to dinner at a fancy restaurant! Like a dozen patients! Finally, Dr Rosenstock, as medical director told me he could not treat me anymore! He said I was too well! Many people needed him! That’s when he transferred me to Dr Melton! He is great and so is his medical assistant Wendi! She is super wonderful! Known her when I was with Dr Rosenstock! Both Mary and Wendi have been to my house for a Xmas party! When my partner was in the hospital 4 years, Dr Rosenstock gave me his private cell number to call if I needed him! The entire state gets a 10! The office manager, Sharon, been there as insurance clerk when Dr R started! She will not tolerate bad employees or bad attitudes! This practice is best in Atlanta !

First and last time at this place. Initially paid a $30 copay then received another bill for $220 for labs etc; then got another bill for $20 for labs and finally got a quest diagnostics bill for $292.56 ultimately paid $592 for one doctors visit. I will never go back again this is ridiculous to pay this much for just one visit.

Dr. Melton and the Absolute Care staff are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! He’s loving, caring and BRILLIANT and so is his staff. If anyone says otherwise, they are not being truthful. Great doctors like Dr. Melton are extremely hard to find.

Thanks to him he let a tumor I had in my neck get large and did nothing < I had to go to another doctor, the day I saw him I had to have sugery.....

Dr. Melton makes you feel like you are his only patient.

Love dr Melton. He's the greatest! Makes you feel as though you are his only patient. Always informative and willing to listen to you. Am so glad he's my doctor. I feel very confident he has my health as top priority.
