Dr. Dennis Efren Duriex

Dr. Duriex is excellent, and the nursing staff was great, but I decided to change doctors and go to UMC because the receptionist, I believe her name is Isabelle, was always very rude and condescending. She was almost never kind to me, but I would see her be so sweet to older patients in the waiting room. She made it very uncomfortable getting care. Some people do not belong in healthcare and she is one of them.

The word Awesome is not enough to describe Dr Duriex. He was a bright ray of sunshine every time he walked into our room. He alternated medical information with just enough “visiting” to make daddy so very comfortable and reassured. He is a master communicator, which makes his bedside manner totally patient oriented. Although we know he is, he does not appear to be in a hurry. He does not start walking backwards to the door when he has delivered his update but stands tall (with his hands in his pockets) until he has asked if we have any other questions. I hope that someday the miracle of medicine can clone his disposition and every doctor gets a healthy dose of it before they graduate! He’s really that good!

Wonderful doctor!

Everyone is very nice and extremely helpful! I wish all doctor offices and doctors were like Dr. Duriex and his staff.

I was very impressed with Dr Duriex and his staff - excellent experience overall. Good on assessing and communicating my issue with me as well as what I need to do at home and elsewhere to manage it. Great help for problems when you don't have a scheduled appointment that arise during office hours (they'll get you in pronto) or at odd hours (prompt return of message and Rx called).
