Dr Dennis Chi is the most amazing Dr. He is brilliant, caring and the most skilled surgeon in his field. Dr Chi thinks outside the box and is prepared for any kind of situation when preforming surgery. Believe me i know I wouldn't be writing this review if he wasn't.

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Dennis Chi. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I am very happy with the outcome of my surgery, and I will certainly recommend Dr. Chi to anyone without reservation.

I recommend Dr. Chi for gynecological cancer surgery. He is a master surgeon, a nice caring doctor and I own him more than this review.

As a patient I have never felt more cared for then by Dr. Dennis Chi and his team of highly professional and caring support staff. I met with Dr, Chi for a second opinion and he was extremely knowledgeable, caring and supportive. I am a detailed person and a patient that asks lots of questions. Dr. Chi and his staff were patient and answered all my questions in full. I cannot explain to you what a sense of relief, a literal weight taken off, and reduction in anxiety I had after meeting with Dr. Chi and his staff for for initial consultation. It was amazing to feel that I was going to be in good hands with a super bright, skilled, caring specialist and his team. My family and friends all felt a sigh of relief as well. I do not live in NY or NJ and must drive 5 hours for follow up visits but it is worth it as you can imagine to be able to trust your doctor. Also MSK is like a well oiled machine which is fantastic. I cannot thank Dr, Chi and his team enough. We are so grateful.

Dr. Chi is top notch. I wish every woman with a gynecological cancer could find her way to Dr. Chi. I offer this evaluation because I remember so well how it felt to be diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. I am writing this 8 years later. In 2013 I had been told that I had stage 4 ovarian cancer & that it could be "6 months". Then I found my way to Dr. Chi and my life was forever changed. Since my ten hour surgery with Dr. Chi in 2013, which left no visible cancer behind (I had the standard four months of chemo) and have not had a recurrence. During the last 8 years, Dr. Chi has followed my case and been my cancer doctor. He is a terrific human being who has devoted his life to combating gynecological cancers. He is recognized world wide for his expertise, skills & abilities. Back in 2013, the mskcc video "Meet Genealogical Cancer Surgeon Dennis Chi" convinced me that I should get an opinion & treatment with Dr. Chi. It was the first time I heard the word hope.

I met Dr. Chi 8/2015 after being diagnosed with carcinosarcomaa rare and difficult endometrial cancer. I was scared but there was something about him that made me feel at ease. He explained the process, surgery then chemotherapy. It is now 2022 , I have been in remission, Dr. Chi says cured, and this is because of him . I believe that God has given him the hands to cure. He is personable, approachable and very professional. My hero. I saw Dr. Chi in November 2021, he has put me into the survivorship program at Sloan's but he has assured me that he is still my doctor and I can call on him anytime. He is the best! Dr. Chi is an outstanding GYN Oncologist. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer with a very poor prognosis. Dr. Chi guided my chemotherapy and performed a thorough surgery that resulted in a complete removal of my disease and 5 years later I am well and living a completely fulfilling life. Dr. Chi is the reason I survived my terrible disease and I am blessed to have him as my surgeon. Any woman with a GYN malignancy should seek out his care so he can help them survive too.

Dr. Chi is by far the most talented, caring and experienced surgeon. I was given 6 months at best with no options when I went to see him. He assured myself and my family he would do everything he could and because of him I am here today. I now have a 3 year old and have still been battling ovarian cancer but he is crucial to keeping the cancer at bay! His personality, calmness, extreme patience and assurance are astounding! He is amazing!

Dr Chi saved my wife’s life. He is my hero and I will always be very grateful for him. Her surgery was 5 years ago and he texts my wife every few weeks to check on her. That’s the definition of a compassionate doctor. The negative reviews on here of him are false. Do not judge him on those. Feel free to contact me on social media if you want to know more about how awesome Dr Chi was/is for my wife and family.

It was shocking when my family found out that my mom had advanced ovarian cancer. At first we met with a doctor who left us confused, giving us no guidance on whether my mom should start with surgery or chemo. Thankfully, we found Dr. Chi. He took the time to review all of my mom’s results, examine her, and explain his findings and reasoning. He was confident but honest, and my mom decided to use him as her surgeon and start with surgery. My mom’s operation started late - but it was reassuring that this was a routine surgery for all the doctors and nurses at MSK. Dr. Chi spent over 8 hours meticulously removing the cancer from my mom. It didn’t matter that it was close to midnight when he finally finished. He stayed until the job was done and he had removed 100% of the visible cancer. Because of his superior skills as a surgeon and his dedication to his patients, my mom is in the best position possible to fight this cancer. I am so thankful we found Dr. Chi.

Dr. Chi saved my life. Days after a CT scan found an orange sized tumor in my abdomen, I met with Dr. Chi. Tears ran down my face as I begged him to save me, so that I could continue raising my 2 young children. He assured me of his experience and performance of successful cancer debulking surgeries. He told me many of his Ovarian Cancer patients presented in a similar advanced state that I was in. Mostly, I recall how calm and confident he remained in his ability to help me. There are no guarantees and while in the trenches with Cancer, it was these Exact qualities I sought for in a Cancer surgeon. 17 months post surgery, I remain Cancer Free AND I feel Fantastic!! Dr. Chi and his team spent 8 hours removing ALL the visible cancer tumors that riddled my abdomen. I know first hand how it feels when a nasty, stage IV cancer invades your body and tries to take you away. Thanks to Dr. Chi, I also know what it is like to have a superior and expertly skilled surgeon save you.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a little over a year ago. Dr. Chi was my third opinion- I left the first 2 offices scared and confused... thank goodness I sought one more opinion. Dr. Chi is calm, methodical, and enormously compassionate. He listers intently and addresses all your questions and concerns. He discussed his recommendations with me at length, and I left my consult with him comfortable with the information I was given and the decisions that had been made. Surgery followed a week or so later, and thanks to Dr. Chi’s incredible knowledge and surgical skills, I am doing well. There is a Yiddish term for people like Dr. Chi... he is truly a “mensch,” a kind, honorable person who cares for others.

I have been going to Dr. Chi since 2012. He is amazing !!! Not only he is top of his rank but he is humble, has the biggest heart. He goes far and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe. He takes his time to explain all your options . I trust Dr. Chi with my life.

Very talented surgeon! Hardworking. Loves his work! He can do a surgery that no other surgeon will do.

When I was first diagnosed in September 2018 my world crashed . My children and I and my boyfriend research and got recommendations for 4 to 5 surgeon specializing in advance ovarian cancer. I was blessed that we picked Dr Dennis Chi to do a total hysterectomy and remove all 22 tumors that has spread in my abdomen. He operated on me for eight hours. Ovarian cancer has a 70% chance of reoccurrence within two years. So far I haven’t had any reoccurrence and feel amazing. He saved my life. His knowledge and expertise had surpassed my expectations. Dr. Chi is just brilliant! Just by reading his credentials I was sold! (I had a total hysterectomy bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy) I Have a BRCA 2 mutation and this was a prophylactic surgery. From the moment I stepped into the surgical center at Sloan Kettering I was at ease. Every single person from the front desk to the nurses were warm and welcoming. After surgery I could not believe how good I felt! Yes I was sore, but nothing like I expected. The nurses post surgery were phenomenal!!! I have never had such a wonderful experience in a hospital setting in my life! Dr. Chi did an exceptional job and I would recommend him to anyone!!! I’m so glad I found him!!! Dr. Chi is talented and gifted in his skills as a ovarian cancer surgeon but it is so important to not only have confidence in your surgeon but to be comfortable asking questions. Dr. Chi is not only an excellent surgeon but also a compassionate person. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that metastasized throughout my body and he saved my life. There are no words to express my heartfelt gratitude for all Dr Chi has done for me.

Dr. Chi saved my mother's life. When other doctors said she had less than 1 month, Dr. Chi gave us 7 years with my mother. With my sister and I testing positive for the Brip1 gene, I will stick with Dr. Chi for all my needs. He is amazing and just because he doesn't 'sugar coat' things doesn't mean he doesn't care, or isn't an amazing doctor.

I am so scared, my wife and I are going to meet him, I hope he will be our Angel too!

Dr. Chi has been angel. My wife is alive and healthy due to his miracle-marathon surgeries on her. She had Stage 4 ovarian cancer. He and his surgery team have amazing skills. The HIPEC procedure performed by him can keep the cancer in remission or get rid of it.

Came for a second opinion, Dr. didnt even look at the results or performed a normal exam. Questions about the medical condition (cancer) just irritated him cause he didn’t know the answer because he didn’t review the results. Waisted my time and money. So incompetent and Uncompassionate.

What more can I say...He saved my life!

Dr. Chi saved my moms life! My mother was diagnosed last August with stage 3B ovarian cancer and after extensive debulking, Dr.Chi was able to remove it all. He is a confident surgeon who made us feel comfortable with the plan he had for my mom. Afterwards, she went through chemotherapy at Sloan in NJ and is coming up on her 2 year mark - she is cancer free. Dr.Chi is one of a kind!

Dr. Chi is the God of GYN Oncology Robotic surgery. He saved my mother's life who was diagnosed 3 years ago with advanced Endometrial cancer. He performed 2 major surgeries that were life-saving. He is an amazing person as well. He knows what is right for his patients, and will go all the way to safe that patient's life (he was able to deal with very difficult emotional family in a very professional way, and convinced to a life saving treatments, when there was very little hope for cure.)

Dr Chi is an excellent surgeon. He and his team performed an 8 hour surgery removing all visible signs of ovarian cancer. I had a full recovery from the surgery with no complications. I am happy to say I am still cancer free. He and his team are amazing! I can't recommend Dr. Chi or Memorial Sloan Kettering more.

Dr. Chi is the most skilled surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am grateful for his expertise. I will never forget him.
