Dennis Amini

I had my first and only pregnancy in 2020. I was sent to Dr. Amini because I needed a specialist for a possible lung abnormality in my baby. As my pregnancy progressed, Dr. Amini and his team got more and more controlling. Western medicine really needs some help, they just don’t understand the physiological aspect to birthing at all. I was told by Dr. Amini that I MUST have my baby at Washington hospital center when I really wanted to go to holy cross. This doctor really told me that he’s going to LET me have autonomy of my body. HE is going to LET me. He tried really hard to push me to induce labor at 39 weeks. i protested and said I don’t want to be induced. He tried to make me feel bad saying things like “I thought we were friends, I feel like you’re giving me a hard time here” Like wow really Doc. He said “People don’t come to see me because I’m warm and fuzzy they come to see me because I’m a specialist” He also told me that if I didn’t go into labor by 39 weeks that I would be scheduled for an induction and probably a c section. They stick surgeons at the head of a natural process. I was treated HORRIBLY at WHC. After an emergency c section due to complications from the induction, my baby was brought earth side totally fine, I was told it was silly that I was sent to this hospital. I would’ve been fine to deliver at any other hospital. The point is that Dr. Amini is a qualified doctor, AND is probably good at his job, but his bedside manner leaves a lot of be desired, and he’s a very controlling man. The woman who reads ultrasounds with him is also very much not kind and is also a control freak who thinks that women who want to listen to their bodies are stupid. I would never recommend Kaiser as a company to ANYONE.

Best doctor ever, at first I was very skeptical, I almost wanted to change my doctor but afterwards I realized that Dr. Amini is a great doctor, very knowledgeable, caring and honest. I have no complaint only good things to say about him. You are in good hands with him.

Dr. Amini is a great doctor! He explained everything so clearly and listen to patients! Only thing was I didn’t like, they were doing my ultrasound it has one machine to see my baby! Since , Dr. Amini was talking I had to look At him, I wouldn’t able to see my baby! I think it would be great let the ultrasound done then we can go ahead talking! Overall, He is an Excellent doctor!
