Denise DeNicolo is gay friendly. I felt very comfortable and did not feel judged in any way.
I saw her for a SAP evaluation. She completed my dot paperwork the same day and got me back on the road again.
I've been seeing Denise for the past 9 or 10 years off and on. When life takes a dip, I'm back to see her. She always remembers me and is a good listener. I've recommended my friends and family to her. I think she's honest and tells it like it is and sometimes that's what I need. I'm a veteran and she's a veteran so we know the same lingo. She gets me.
Denise DeNicolo was recommended by my Employee Assistance Program (EAP). First, she never called me to schedule an appointment. I waited a week and called the EAP who gave me Denise's number. I dialed the number and Denise answered by saying "Hello?", not using her business/professional name. I explained why I was calling and her voice sounded irritated. She was rude, insensitive and for her to be a "counselor" talking that way to someone in distress--very concerning. Filed complaint with EAP.
