Delbert J Kwan

Numerous years ago I had my first kidney stone and after visiting three other inefficient urologists, I finally visited Dr. Delbert Kwan who is excellent! He was very patient, and at that point I had had my kidney stone for over 2 months! He diagnosed it immediately while previous doctors claimed it had passed! He is patient and thorough and explains everything about a problematic condition so it is easy to understand.

Dr Kwan is a terrific urologist. He’s patient and he listens to his patients. His medical care is superb. And, to top it all off, he has a marvelous sense of humor.

Nics man but he downplayed and dismissed all my correct concerns. Three times he was incorrect saying I did not have a problem when I actually did. I am now going to Philly.

Needed a local Urologist since we moved from Maryland as I have several issues ongoing. Dr. Kwan was right on top of my concerns after reviewing my records and picked right up as though he’s been seeing me for years! I HIGHLY recommend him!

Waited 4 months to get an appointment because I wanted a Urologist close to my home in Rehoboth...my GP had more knowledge than he did. Don't waste your time, go to another closer to Wilmington, Baltimore or Philadelphia. I left his office shaking my head and thinking that this and all of mine and my friend's experiences at Beebe Healthcare were true....if you want quality you need to go somemwhere out of Sussex County.

Doctor Kwan is an easygoing guy who knows what he's doing. He put me at ease before during and after my procedure with his wit of knowledge and humor combined. Is also complimented by his staff that are knowledgeable and supportive of their patients. Thank you so much everybody in and outside of the office for the wonderful care that I received. I will highly recommend him to anybody.

I am generally pleased with all aspects of my treatments with D Kwan, MD.

Dr. Kwan literally saved my life. I had stag 4 cancer in my left kidney and both adrenal glands I also had a tumor in my bladder. Dr. Kwan removed the tumor my left kidney and adrenal glands. I had a pet scan done and it showed no traces of cancer. I walked into the hospital thinking I had kidney stones after checking he found out about the cancer. Dr. Kwan was very thural he also took the time to explain what I needed to have done so not only me but my family would understand.

I did not even get to make an appt . My son had severe pain with kidney stones and after a lengthy conversation with the rude scheduling person, was told at that point it could take 48 hours for them to even contact us back to even schedule an appt . so un acceptable , its no wonder our ER hospitals are full all the time , seems to be the only way to see a doctor anymore. More people should realize first contact customer service is everything . I would never recommend this practice to anyone

Kodus to Dr Kwan He is very understanding,,explans everything & ,even drew pictures so we knew what he was talking about. he is very polite and what I liked best he met with the family answered all questions,,and that made us feel positive about what we were going threw and knowing he was doing the operation was a plus..He never failed to check in on him and gave us hope . We love Dr Kwan and would recommend him to everyone. My husband was in the hospital for five weeks,He had three operations,
