Dr. Deepali Kothary

I absolutely can recommend Dr. Kothary for any woman in any stage of menopause. She is the only Kaiser specialist for menopause management. I had been suffering with hot flashes, imsomnia, night sweats, vaginal atrophy and dryness. I met with her and after a thorough review of my health, she said I was a candidate for HRT. Now 6 months have gone by and I am no longer suffer in ha my quality of life is a million times better. Dr. Kothary always responds to messages quickly and is so pleasant and knowledgeable that I suggest asking for a referral to see her. It’s well worth it!! I absolutely can recommend Dr. Kothary for any woman in any stage of menopause. She is the only Kaiser specialist for menopause management. I had been suffering with hot flashes, imsomnia, night sweats, vaginal atrophy and dryness. I met with her and after a thorough review of my health, she said I was a candidate for HRT. Now 6 months have gone by and I am no longer suffer in ha my quality of life is a million times better. If I can, there is no star for her at all. She is the worse doctor I ever had in my life. She does not want to spend time with patient, she will cut you off if you have question, and says " It's normal". This is my second pregnancy's so I know what is normal and what is not. I was in so much pain that even make me cry... she did not explain anything...just " it's normal". On the visit summary, there will be more subjects which she never mention during the visit that she suppose to go through. She lied on the report obviously. Add to that, I was in a car accident on Friday, I had bruises on my belly. (my car got totaled, so it was bad). After monitored and got discharged at hospital , they said I need to check with my OB on Monday, coincident I had 27 weeks check up with her on Tuesday. On Tuesday, when she see me she was like oh, "I heard you in the accident, doctor check and everything ok", I said yes, then she use the tape to measure the belly and have the hear the heartbeat of the baby. "Everything is normal" she said as always. My 27 weeks check up with her was like 2 minutes. She did not even check my belly bruises which she could not see when she measured the belly with measurement tape.... At this point, I could not stand her anymore, I switched OB. I mean, if you don't want to help patient, don't be a doctor. One of my friend had same experience as I do, she had to switched to different Kaiser location. She is the worst doctor ever. She never listens to your problems, she cuts you off as soon as you want to tell her your pain and says .. it's normal. I have her as my OB dr for my second one, I know what's normal and what's not. I am in so much pain and she just keeps telling me it's normal. She barely explains or discuss anything with you as she writes on the summary reports by the end of the appointment. Recently I have appointment with her at 27 weeks and she literally spent 2 minutes in the room... add to it, I had car accident like 4 days before the appointment and still have bruises on my tummy... she did not even check it out ...
