Unless you’re ready for your symptoms to be mansplained away, I have not had a good experience with this doctor at all. However, his PA’s are much more kind and caring. I am 26 years old, and I’ve been to the ER 4 times this year, being admitted twice due to very concerning symptoms and findings. I have had worsening health and even had a seizure in my primary’s office just to be swept under the rug by him. There’s only so much a hospital can do in non-emergent situations, and it seems like unless you are a textbook case for this doctor, your time will just be wasted. Knowledgeable, listens to concerns, takes as much time as needed, explains and lets patients make informed choices about treatment. Friendly and caring - best doctor ever!

Dr. Shah is the best GP that I've ever had, hands down. He engages you in the conversation from beginning to end, he listens to fully understand and gives multiple options from most to least conservative approach with explanations for the lay person to understand. I trully feel like he considers me as a vitale part of the team and respects my decisions as a patient. For anyone looking for a GP, you will not regret choosing Dr. Shah as your primary care physician. I recommend him regularly as I think he is the perfect example of a doctor.

Excellent doctor. Dr Shah cares about his patients. The staff always has a smile on their faces whenever I come in for an appointment.

Dr. Shah is a great listener. He really understands you. He explains your situation and treatment very clearly. I highly recommend him!

I seriously feel like the most blessed person to have Dr. Shah as my GP. He is so knowledgeable but not an alarmist. I have a lot of medical issues and even one which puts me at risk for stroke. Dr. Shah is thorough and knows many of the best doctors at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Shah always spends as much time with me as I need. I was so used to having a doctor who got me in and out in 5 minutes. That was very frustrating. Anyone who gets Dr. Shah as their doctor will undoubtably agree with me.

Dr. Shah takes the time to listen and help resolve problems. If need be, he'll squeeze you in even though he might be fully booked. He has integrity and has calm / good bedside manner so to speak. Scheduling is usually through JHCP central scheduling which isn't very timely but he has called me when an earlier opening became free. Contacting his office direct can be tricky because of the phone tree options. Dr. Shah takes the time to listen and help resolve problems.
