I’ve been a patient of Dr Epstein got 2 years. On annual visits she NEVER EVER asked me about my period. At the end of my annual visit as I was getting ready to leave I said: “Oh by the way, my period is still regular” she just shrugged her shoulders and said: “ great , thanks” Each annual visit is rushed last less than 10 min. When I told her about my postpartum depression her reaction was: “yes, it can re-wire your brain”. no empathy or emotion no nothing. When I saw her recently about my fibroids she insisted I had a kidney stone ! I said: A kidney stone that hurts only once a month during the period ? Have you heard about such a thing anywhere in the medical books? She said: No, but I still want to make sure you don’t have it” and gave me a referral to a kidney ultrasound. She didn’t believe my pain and suffering caused by my fibroids that clearly showed in the ultrasound scan. I am now under the care if another OBGYN and scheduled to remove my fibroids in a surgery .

She”s insensitive, visit is rushed and she did not believe my complaints about the pain and discomfort caused by my uterine fibroids, instead she said this could be due to “kidney stones”. When I told her they kidney destines don’t hurt only once a month the before the start of my period, she still insisted I’d do a kidney scan… . I found myself in this surreal situation where my own OB doesn’t believe me. It was a nightmare of a visit. She also knew my medical history and that I had removal of fibroids 7 years ago due to severe pain and discomfort and now they grew back …I’m now seeing another OBGYN surgeon now who is going to schedule me for removal of these painful fibroids. I will NEVER set my foot in Dr. Epstein’s office ever again. If you care about your health, don’t see her, find someone else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Epstein's for approximately 20 years. She is an amazing physician who I have referred dozens of friends and family to over the years and they are all as impressed with her care and professionalism. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love the feel of the office. I would recommend this practice for your gynecological care.

Dr. Epstein was East to talk to, she answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable being able to sit for a consultation prior to my exam.

I went to Dr. Epstein on Jan. 20, 2020, for my first visit. I never expected to be treated with such a lack of patience and compassion, as I experienced that day. I was nervous to begin with, and Dr. Epstein, left me in her alone in her office for over 30 minutes, while she went and examined other patients. When she returned, she distractedly flipped through my records and interrogated me, as if I was on trial, as opposed to just asking me questions. She actually snapped at me, when I didn't answer quickly enough. There is no excuse for the lack of empathy and professionalism she displayed to me in her office. The lack of warmth and interest in anything besides pushing for genetic counseling, and expensive laser treatments left me silent in shock. I went to Dr. Epstein with trust, concerning the most intimate part of my body - sharing my most private details and history, and was left me feeling completely belittled and shaken.

It was a horrible experience.

Dr. Epstein's bedside manner made me feel terrible. I came to her feeling hopeful. At the end of the appointment, I felt hopeless. She struck me as incredibly rude and misinformed. I did mention to another doctor that I saw Dr. Epstein. Without me saying anything about Dr. Epstein, the other doctor called her "weird."

Dr Epstein has been my GYN Care-Doc since the early ‘90’s. She is compassionate, personable, & professional. Staff are pleasant & knowledgeable. Lab services are usually done on premises. I travel >60 miles one way to been seen by Dr Epstein. Well worth the time as she & her staff are truly dedicated to females’ health.

Dr. Epstein was pleasant and professional. The actual exam was quick. The paperwork was not. Ms. Liaz was also very nice, but needs glasses, which I guess surprised me. My Insurance Company contacted the office on my behalf. The office staff was neither pleasant to them or to me. The office staff were very rude when I called to ask the location of the office. It was not listed in directions. I was left on hold almost ten minutes on the side of the road.

I immediately felt at ease with Dr. Epstein. Her genuine concern is apparent the moment you meet her. I felt very comfortable. The atmosphere and attitude of the staff is laid back yet professional. I felt like a person, not a number in the portal. Dr. Epstein took her time and made this a positive experience. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Debra Epstein's soothing voice, gentle touch, & strong heart turn a medically necessary GYN exam very easy. She is kind, empathetic, professional & detailed. Office is neat & orderly. Staff members are kind & professional in dress & demeanor. Dr. Epstein convinced me to be genetically tested for the BRCA 1 & 2 genes; both my Mother & her Mother died from Breast CA. Doctor was very compassionate informing me of those + results. She guided me thru the process of additional follow-up and care!

Dr. Epstein is wonderful! I have never felt rushed or that she is in a hurry. She is a down to earth person and makes you feel like a friend. her office staff is another story. They are rude and obnoxious.

Dr. Epstein and Nancy are great!! I recommend them to everyone, but with a warning of the office staff - they can be painfully rude and inconsiderate on the phone.
