Dr. Deborah Ann Mulligan

I saw this provider through my health insurance, and it was a waste of 5 minutes. She is fat-phobic and condescending. She saw a list of my medications and decided she knew more than the doctors who are managing my other illnesses. In case she reads this, when someone sees you for a skin infection, stay in your lane! Especially if you haven’t taken the time to get the patient’s history.

Had video visit over MDLive. At the beginning of explaining what was going on with me, she cut me off to answer phone regarding a plumber (note she was very frustrated on the phone call). Then she asked me to start over and not long after cut me off again to tell me what she thought I should do. Maybe she would have had the same advice had explained everything, but it was obvious she was in a hurry to gift off the video. Between that and her already being frustrated at the beginning, it did not feel like she really cared all that much. Televisits should get the same professionalism and courtesy as in person one. But maybe she’s that way regardless.

Horrible experience with this doctor on LiveMD. I had to ask her to repeat a question near the beginning of our call. She responded by saying in a nasty tone, “I hope you are not in your car.” I told her I was pulling in my driveway and would be out of the car in just a minute and that I could hear her better when I got out. She hung up on me. When I called back, they said she coded the call like I missed her call. I had to reschedule a new appointment and start all over. I have no idea if she is a good doctor, but she was very rude and unprofessional. The second doctor that I eventually got through to did a good job. Dr. Deborah Mulligan was rude and condescending multiple times throughout the MDLIVE phone call I had with her. I have NEVER had an experience like this. I work in healthcare and would never talk to my patients the way she talked to me. I have a sinus infection and she tried to tell me the duration that I’ve had my symptoms did not correspond with the symptoms I was having. She told me multiple times to, “listen to me” and “I’m talking right now.” People like her DO NOT need to be in the healthcare profession. If you get assigned her, ask for someone else. Gave me a diagnosis that requires antibiotics. Talked on MDLive...Wouldn't prescribe the antibiotics the diagnosis said I needed. Told me to physically be seen. Financially couldn't afford it and used telehealth for this reason. She knew and was unhelpful, condescending and sarcastic when I claimed I've had an abscess before. I would personally avoid her like the plague. Maybe her accolades have gone to her head? Holding back something as simple as antibiotics to a patient with autoimmune genetic disorder and who has pain and relatives with strept throat. Terrible, doctors have GOT to start helping without stigma or assumptions. Stop forcing what you think is best for the patient onto the patient first. Begin weighing risks to benefits first then make an educated decision. I now have a newborn susceptible, no transportation and nothing to take to help in the meantime. Horrible -10 stars. Shouldn't practice medicine.

Found her analysis to be not so useful (beyond what I could find from Google). She wasn't helpful and didn't give me much guidance. Doctors like Deborah are the reason I and many others have a distinct distrust of the medical community. I spoke to another doctor immediately after and got much better results. I felt grateful to pay her. I felt robbed to pay Deborah.

Dr. Mulligan was kind, attentive, reassuring and conservative in her approach to treating me during the tele-health visit. She explained why she was choosing the treatment she recommended and was prompt in following up with prescribing what I needed. I would seek her advice out again if needed.

I had a phone consultation for $45 for my son who needed a prescription for his cold and a refill on his asthma medication. After a 3 minute phone call, this shady doctor tells me she can’t help and to take him to a doctor. Don’t ever use any type of telehealth service. It’s a waste of time, money and energy. Had the pleasure of Dr. Mulligan on MDLive. Such a kind woman, who took the time to listen and review photos of my two year old! Pink eye from her cold it is, meds sent right over to my pharmacy and even followed up with me via messaging after! Class act for sure!

Awful, unprofessional, did not listen at all and only told me what could not be done. When I asked her for a helpful recommendation on what I could do, she told me in an argumentative tone of voice what could not be done. I would never recommend her.

I had the privilege of getting Dr Mulligan on MDLIVE and I was very impressed. She took the time to listen to my complaints and diagnose me accordingly. She also took special care to recognize that I am growing a tiny human!

We had our first MDLIVE appointment today. I was very pleased with our experience and Dr. Mulligan. She has been by far the most informative Dr. I’ve had the pleasure to visit with. My daughter had a cough and through a series of thorough questions she was able to give us professional advice. Speaking with her did my mother’s heart well. This woman is an absolute psycho. When I discussed common cold and flu symptoms with her and told her I simply could not just lay around and hydrate because I have a job and responsibilities she then told me, “well then you’re going to be just like the rare cases we read about in the newspaper”......insinutating my symptoms would result in death. I have reported her and have an open case with the board and will be getting weekly updates. Seriously this woman shouldn’t even have a license.

Know it all doctor who doesn't listen to HISTORY when you know your body. Tells me something is viral when I'm PRONE to re-occuring sinus infections, son ALSO HAS SINUS INFECTION, I have a FEVER and again have ALL THE SIGNS OF EXACTLY THIS. Tells me have a good day, takes my $40. Guarantee I'll miss work this week and be going to someone WHO CAN HELP ME.

Outstanding. First time using MDLive and was fortunate enough to be connected to Dr Mulligan. Listened to my symptoms, took time to explain diagnosis and send in prescription. THANK YOU

MD Live was a bad experience - got nothing out of it and was a waste of money. When I asked questions she seemed annoyed that I was taking up more of her time

Just paid $60 to learn how I must go see another doctor. She was condescending and utterly unhelpful. Worst experience with MDlive if you are assigned this doctor, go somewhere else. That'll be $60 please.

Had a good MDLive experience with the doctor. She identified my eye issue, sent in a prescription, and had a pleasant attitude during the visit.

Horrible. There should be an option to give zero stars. I have the same experience as others who had the unfortunate luck of speaking with her on MDlive. She would not stop talking to listen to my symptoms (nor did she even ask how I was feeling, ever) and at the end she refused to tell me her name again and hung up on me.

MD Live. She was horrible. She didn't listen to my symptoms, Made assumptions to my symptoms that I told her were not accurate, Told me that even w signs of infection she would not do anything to treat them and I should see a doctor. Thought I was. I told her I was prone to sinus infections. The entire time she appeared preoccupied and was not listening to me. I wasted money and to make a bad appt worst, she hung up on me in the middle of the appointment. No antibiotic or treatment suggestion.

She basically wanted my partner to continue with all her symptoms of a very wraspy cough with mucus, and nasal congestion to wait 7 days to see if all symptoms go away. She has a history of bronchitis and thats why she called the Dr. with early symptoms to avoid it turning into bronchitis. She was given no antibiotics, and no advice but to let nature run its course. She wasn't sure if it may be something worse, so her solution was to do nothing for her. An antibiotic could have only helped. We're in the middle of blizzard here and I can't leave the house to bring her to a doctor's office. I hope she's satisfied knowing she did nothing for a 4 year old girl who needed her help. Dr. Mulligan shows genuine caring for the patient. She listens, takes time to explain treatment carefully to ensure it is understood.

Dr Mulligan is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Her genuine and caring attitude was exactly what I was looking for in a Primary care doc. We could use more physicians like her these days!

I've visited with Dr Mulligan for pink eye for my 5 year old using MDLIVE and she was amazing. Very caring and took care of my issue promptly. The prescription was at my local walgreens in less than an hour!! Fantastic experience and would definetlty see again!!
