Dr. Shoener and Maggie his physician assistant took out my wife's gall bladder, and I can not say enough about how good they are and how nice all the staff in the office are and very caring you feel like family when you go there and they keep you up to date while your loved one is in surgery. No amount of thanks can show how much we appreciate all involved.

Wonderful experience with entire staff. Dr. Shoener is very knowledgeable, listened to my symptoms and did my surgery promptly. I had some special scheduling requests which he took into consideration and was able to accommodate. Great experience, great results!

I had to bring my son to the (Delnor) ER with severe abdominal pain. The doctor suggested it might be appendicitis even though he had numerous other symptoms. He was brought to surgery promptly. He was admitted. As bills started rolling in, I paid them. After every bill was settled, I received a bill for this surgeon. Out of network, another $700. While I tried to explain, I received no assistance. We did not ask the name of the surgeon nor did we check to see if he was in network. It’s ridisc

Dr. Shoener is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful gentleman. Dr. Shoener has performed two surgeries on me. Each surgery and treatment plan were carefully explained. Each surgery went as expected and the outcomes were excellent. I am blessed to have met Dr. Shoener and I highly recommend him and his staff to you.

I was suffering from severe abdominal pain, and after visiting Delnor's ER, where a CT scan was performed, it was determined that I needed emergency hernia surgery - enter Dr. Shoener. He was outstanding! He came into my ER room and immediately put both myself and my wife at ease. He talked about what was going on and that he believed it was necessary to go in right away to take care of my issue. Less than an hour later, I was in the OR and 90 minutes later, my issue was solved!

Dr. Shoener was very knowledgable and friendly. He put my mind at ease. Having my appendix out could have been a scary experience but Dr. Shoener and his staff were very professional!
