Dr. David A Zijerdi

I had a severe injury to my distal biceps tendon and the tendon was completely severed from the bone, a few of my parents neighbors had gone through more serious injuries, making a complete recovery, and referred me to Dr. Zijerdi. He gave a very thorough explanation and drew out exactly what the procedure entailed, as well as what made it superior to other methods. He was able to do the surgery that week. As of now I've made a strong recovery and am lifting weights again in the gym on a regular basis. I have zero of the complications and full functionality.

Dr Zijerdi performed an Achilles Tendon repair 6 months ago and I give an A+ on his skills as a surgeon. Dr. Zijerdi's bedside manner is excellent and he is a very good listener. His support staff, Ms Katrina, helped me obtain medical records when I needed them- she answered my questions and was very helpful . Anyone needing a good orthopedic Dr you may want to consider Dr. Zijerdi. He and his staff were very professional and I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Zijerdi performed my hip replacement surgery in April 2019 and I am delighted with the results. I have always led an active life until my problems with my hip. Thanks to Dr. Zijerdi's, four months after surgery, I am back to doing all the activities I enjoy. At the tender age of 80, I am back to biking, snorkeling, gardening, long walks and , of course, house work. I will always be grateful for his skill and compassion.

AMAZING surgeon and comforting personality. He did a surgery on my knee and did incredible work. The best in the area, hands down.

Dr Zijerdi and his staff are outstanding! My experience with him was great. From the start to the end (shoulder surgery) I experienced nothing but the best care ever. I would most definitely recommend him.

As a family nurse practitioner in the area, I refer many of my patients to Dr. Zijerdi that are in need of orthopedic evaluation and treatment. He is smart and thorough. As a provider myself, I trust him with my patients, and even myself and my family. He has operated on my arm multiple times. I highly recommend him and his practice at Fredrricksburg Orthopedic Associates!!!
