Dr. David S Woo

Diagnosed w cancer. Dr Woo’s office staff dropped ball at least 4 times w scheduling, answering calls etc. He needs to CLEAN HOUSE and hire a decent office manager. These people need to go straight down the urinal. Try it yourself….try to call his office and talk with someone. IMPOSSIBLE

He is doing his best and that is what I want!

Dr. Woo and his staff are amazing!! I have been a Patient of Dr. Woo’s for now 15 years. Dr. Woo in my opinion is the best Urologist. I have IC and have had treatment at other Urologists. Hands down he has kept my IC under control and with the outpatient surgical procedures he has performed with excellency I benefit with being able to live life without having to deal with the issues that go along with IC. I have been going to Dr Woo for over 5 years. He is an excellent urologist. I highly recommend him.

Prostate Cancer Removal. If I could give Dr. Woo and His Entire Staff a rating of 10 Stars, I would. First off, Dr Woo provided an appt within one week of being sent to him by my Urologist. Dr. Woo referred me for several other test and set out a Plan of Care/treatment and after laying out options, we as a family and team, decided to remove the cancerous prostate. Dr. Woo Provided the Best Robotic Surgery I could have expected, and was referred to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for inpatient care/surgical/Anesthesia Referral, as well as Gainesville Imaging for further test. Dr. Woo and His Entire Office, PreOp and Surgical Team Staff/ Post Op Staff worked very well together. Extremely smooth team of Professionals. I will be following up with Dr. Woo for many years to come.

Dr. Woo, has been my doctor for the past year. He is a very patient, caring, understanding, professional, respectful, he sits down to listens to your concerns, explains anything you don’t understand, he’s always available and he’s never rushed me out of the office and he’s always punctual and doesn’t keep you waiting. He really values his patience and you leave his office feeling valued.

Dr. Woo listens and is patient & gentle

Dr. Woo is a very good Doctor, his scheduling system makes him look bad. I have made several attempts to contact his office to schedule an appointment! You will be put on hold for as much as 15 minutes and then put into voice mail. If no one is going to answer the phone then why doesn't it go straight to voice mail. Scheduling an appointment with them or getting on his schedule for surgery is not an easy task. Dr Woo is a respectful, kind person; and as a doctor I found him to be well-informed about my issues and was never trying to multi task during my visits. He answered all my questions and each visit was smooth and streamlined perfectly. He has a good attitude and discusses problems at my level. I had prostate cancer. Dr Woo was straight forward and very knowledgeable about all of my options. I had my prostate removed. He was a great surgeon and now I am cancer free. I highly recommend Dr. Woo.

Dr. Woo was very nice and professional with my wife. However there were several non returned messages regarding surgery. There are more details but we ultimately canceled procedure due to lack of confidence with the support staff of his.

Excellent doctor. Great bedside manor. ByDefinatently an asset to the group

Would not recommend to anyone. Been trying to get kidney stones removed for the past 5 months; keep getting recurring UTI's (caused from kidney stones) and have to schedule lithotrispsy with in being on the antibiotics 10 days to within 1 week of being off antibiotics. They can never make that happen. After finally getting a 2 month break from infection; they scheduled me (it took the whole 2 months to get in. Went in that morning, had to prepay, got iv and versed; then was told that machine was broke; would call me the next day to reschedule. It has been 2 days and still no phone call. I called office and requested credit back to FSA card and was told could not do that. They would have to issue refund check and it could take weeks. Since being referred to this practice (6 months ago); I have been hospitalized 3 times (each time for 4-5 days). Disappointed in Dr. & staff @ outpatient surgery center; as they do not follow up or try to work with patients.

Dr. Woo is working with me through prostate cancer, and I have found him to be an absolutely excellent physician and surgeon. He is straightforward in his manner, which suits me perfectly, and took the time I needed to discuss the options open to me. From the first high PSA, through biopsy and treatment plans, I’ve been impressed with him. In the upcoming surgery, I trust him.

Dr. Woo is fabulous! He took me same day from the emergency room for an initial consultation and scheduled me next day for a Lithotripsy procedure. I had a huge kidney stone and was in agony. He was quick, professional, and thoroughly explained every step. I had a second Lithotripsy along with several followup visits to get the remaining bits and each of those visits that were equally quick, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend him if you have any Urology issues. :)

Performed Robotic Surgery for my Prostate cancer 8+ years ago. Excellent outcome and, Dr. Woo has shown constant concern for my long-term health and well being. Coming from a background in Health Care, I appreciate medical and professional competence and would rate Dr. Woo as TOP NOTCH!!

I have been with Dr. Woo for over 10 months now. Before becoming his patient I underwent many procedures dealing with stones, dilated kidney and much more. He immediately took my case and gave me relief from all the pain I was experiencing. I would highly recommend him. I will have to say that the office staff is not quick to respond. I have left several messages with staff and explained the urgency to talk with Dr. Woo but never got a return call.

Dr. Woo is very know in his profession. My daughter and I had been in and out of specialist in Atlanta for years because she was a minor at the time. At seventeen her wonderful smart pediatrician Jennifer Gottsman gave us a refurrel to Dr. Woo. He was patient and wanted to get ALL records from ALL physicians who treated her in the past. Only after gathering all test, treatment plans, frequency of infection, types of infection, cultures and anything else did he then call us in for a plan of action. He never gives up on a situation and always explains everything in plain English, with great patience. I really trust him with the care and treatment of my daughter. I do, however think his staff could use more training and accountability. Dr. Woo is very know in his profession. Performed an invasive procedure on me that was not necessary, twice!

I have never been treated so horribly in my life! He was very short and rude with me when I questioned why my surgery was being postponed after I was already at the surgery center. He had no bedside manners or compassion. When I asked why his office hadn't kept me on antibiotics, he said "you AREN'T my patient"! He is a partner! Who says that? I will NEVER recommend him to anyone! I hope that he is a little more understanding with other patients who are in pain and confused.
